Wish I had a picture of my first vape. Unfortunately I threw them all out. If I had one still I would frame it and hang it on the wall. Must have been 10 years ago I had to quit smoking for 4 months for some spinal surgery so I decided to give them a shot. The only place you could get them was a kiosk in the Mall. They were called E-Light Elite. After a while I found them cheaper on-line. I messed around with those things for 5 years on and off. Mixed with lozenges and patches and gum I was able to cut back quite a bit of the cigs. They finally started stocking Egos at a local head shop and I cut back to 4 or 5 cigs a day. Then I got a Spinner and Pro tank and got off the cigs.

I want to post my antique stuff but too lazy to dig it all out. Maybe one day...I still have everything except a few items I gifted and a few that I sold to finance (more) stuff. In almost 9 years, have only had about 4 things die so I still have lots of stuff. I did toss the blue aquarium foam a couple of years ago and the giant bag of batting we used to stuff the 510 cartridges.

New folks will never know the camaraderie on ecf while trying to get a limited item as soon as it was listed for sale. Hit that refresh button like 100 times waiting for it to go live and then in a frenzy trying to buy before they were all gone. The Zap, Ihybrids, Zens were really hard to get in the early days. I remember Iowagal and Tyleris getting something for me at a big vape meet. Otherwise, I would have never gotten hold of it. That small pink Zen, what was that called?

Can't like your post - the information was too depressing, are you serious, people went to her house and harassed her over e-cig reviews? I thought that was a new occurrence of disgusting human beings, my disgust is without bounds. (Now Rip Triper, well...)

(cracked up for a second there!!!!! )

Don't quote me for certain but I think it was over the very battery issue that @Baditude referenced. Regardless, it was absurd, and cost a lot of people the privilege of watching someone they (we) really liked to watch. She was bright & engaging, with a sense of humor and a propensity to experiment.

All over a disagreement about ______ (< again, MadLibs pretty much anything). Who cares! Unsubscribe but never attack. Very sad state...

Glad you enjoyed, I knew some would and then there are others. But as Greg Gutfield has been known to say, "I hate these people".

Mmmmm Genesis atomizers. I loved hating them. Hated loving them? They were the least worst for a while there? Something like that... I really was very grateful when the Kayfun arrived. That was game changing.

    Unsubscribe but never attack.

Good advice for life in general. Save yourself a lot of aggravation. I used that strategy on Facebook. Rapidly ended up with no friends and I haven't posted there for 10 years. ECF is mostly an oasis of niceness as far as the internet goes. It's the only social media I've hung out on for a decade. And I'm not sorry.

    Never complain, never explain.

wasn't there a smaller\different version of the buzz pro ?? seem to remember having something like that

The Buzz was the first that I knew of (late 2011) but it's possible there was something prior. I believe the Notcigs thread is still active here, actually. They'd definitely know (and I believe at least one of their faithful is here in this thread too).

The BuzzPro was pretty small, in and of itself. Considerably smaller and lighter than the Provaris, actually.

I was hoping someone would post an Omega. That was my first mech....retired long ago. Still have it boxed away, but it was fun for me to "play" with for a while.
I still have a brand new Omega in the toy box, and a couple of well used Silver Bullets to keep it company.

But this little guy was my "game changer". Bought the mod from ENS in 2010, (Mako Midi) and that is about the 3-4th J-Tank ever made sitting on it.

I still have & use that mod.

One of my vaping buddies had a Buzz Pro. I was using a Provari at the time. He ended up getting a Provari, too.

My son began vaping about two months after I began. I was still using my variety of stuff, and he called to tell me that (a) he was going to quit smoking and start vaping, and (b) he was getting a BuzzPro straight out of the gate.

The little brat got a top-notch mod before I did.
