Kinda reminds me of this VV eGo/Clearo combo that I used ~ 3 years or so ago. It's just a paper-weight now. I loved it, and probably would still use it occasionally, but the batt is way dead and I can't find coil heads for the clearo anymore.

what was the smaller version of the buzz pro that used cr134's [?] i forget the exact battery type

The one that I know/knew used CR123A, which are basically 16340. NotCigs had their own labels for them (light blue, I think?). They did come out with a later version, that had increased venting via lighting bolt type openings, but the basic unit didn't change (other than the venting).

It's not this one that you're thinking of?

I still have a brand new Omega in the toy box, and a couple of well used Silver Bullets to keep it company.

But this little guy was my "game changer". Bought the mod from ENS in 2010, (Mako Midi) and that is about the 3-4th J-tank ever made sitting on it.

I still have & use that mod.
Here is my omega, first mech I ever bought from altsmoke.

i think the buzz pro was the same board as REO VV?

Interesting. Several REO VV's are still in use.

I think I remember that as well

It was, but something got lost in the translation (if my memory serves me). It was okay, but never really vaped as smoothly as it did in the Buzz. I remember Rob posting something about why they were discontinuing it, and I seem to recall he made reference to some challenges with it.

My memory isn't what it used to be, so don't place any bets on anything I say...

no it wasn't a buzz pro,it used the cr batts,i wanna say 3 of them ??
the one i had was chrome

Still no clarification with this one? Okay - I'm calling in the Big Guns.

    @Bovinia , @FranC , @Wharf Rat - Hi!!! :D

Do any of you recall what the pre-BuzzPro mod from NotCigs was? It's definitely outside of my range, but I'm guessing at least one (if not all) of you will know...

    "Assistance in aisle, "Timeline" please!"

The Buzz was Notcigs first mod....voltage adjustments were made with a small screwdriver via a screw in the side of the Buzz....I beta tested the Buzz and was involved when we were kicking the idea around along with Five Card Stud.....

Then came the Buzz Pro....no more screwdriver....voltage was adjusted via a small wheel....I also beta tested the Buzz Pro....

Then we worked on a box mod that I can't remember the name of....If it came to market it wasn't for long....Beta testers passed it around and when it came my turn I passed....From what I read it had been nothing but trouble...

Then came the Infinity....16340 was the battery used in the Buzz and Buzz Pro....The Infinity used a smaller diameter battery 10440??? I beta tested...The problem we were having was relaying the information too the Chinese....Machine work was done in China and final assembly in California at Mike Buzzetti's factory....My Infinity came with a large unneeded hole in the side....I curved a dime and epoxied it over the hole...It's been a while and I believe voltage was adjusted via an up down toggle button that changed color with the adjustment...At any rate the machining was problematic.....the electronics also....When it came time for my final call I told Mike to shelve it....He did....It was never offered for sale as far as I know...I still have a Pro and the Infinity with the dime glued on it.....

That whole thing started when I saw a thread Mike started asking if anyone had tried variable voltage....I had a copper tube mod with 2 stacked batteries and a guitar rheostat {volume or tone adjustor} wired in and hanging out the side...In those days there were no parts for builders and I was having issues with the atty connection...Pretty sure the tube had 123A batteries....3 volts stacked too 6 volts and trimmed back to around 4.7 volts....We had a choice of 3 or 3.7 volts...we doubled that by stacking so 6 or 7.4....Our initial finding was somewhere in the 4.5 ~5.0 voltage would be much better....I shipped the tube mod too Mike and never saw it again....He saw the promise and took it from there....The Chinese eventually took over the market....Notcigs went away and not long after Pro Vari followed....I also owned several Pro Varis through the years..Five Card Stud, Wharf, Fran, Bovina and I remain friends until this day and have kept the Notices thread going through the years....

DPL & I didn't really partake in the Buzz's buzz, but somehow (via IKV), we came to know all YOUR buddies pretty damm well over the years (still do know them all).

    Loverly small world!

The Donkey (AKA MicroStick from MiniEcig Israel) circa very late 2013/early 2014. I mostly ran By Leo Slim Tanks with their SS sleeves and ΣΟΦΙΑ RTA's, and VapourArt Spheroids in it, but also Aspire BDC's would work in a pinch. With the extension it could use either 18350 or 18490 batts, and made for a pretty good concealed carry/stealth vape mod. But as a DLH vaper I had to slipstream the DT to use it at all, so it didn't see much use. So it turned out to be an expensive venture with the cost of it, the high end By Leo and VaporArt gear and a Zapper V2 to make NR-R-NR ready wires for the ΣΟΦΙΑ's (that I made way more than enough of in 2 hours for all my ΣΟΦΙΑ's and never used it again).

With Slim Tank/glass sleeves/ΣΟΦΙΑ with extension....

I still have my original Buzz, several Buzz Pro's, and even the VVPV box mod that Mike brought to market (I used to work for him.) I sold my copper Infinity. Many great memories from those days, and as @El Dee said, we are all still keeping up with each other and our friendships
