Kat I've seen you and DP around the forum....Used many IKV cartos....Five always gave me a heads up when stock was on the way.....

Thanks for adding the pics Bov....I was on the beta list for the VVPV and read all the emails and PMs associated with beta testing....Mike was gonna send it here but after what I'd read and the timeline getting tight I declined the offer.....I didn't think the VVPV or Infinity came to market....That's been a minute and then as now I was always on the hunt for a better mod....To this day if a mod has a built in battery as the VV did I pass right on by it....The Infinity had great promise....I was never a fan of using China for the machining though and IMO that was the weak link in the chain....

What a wonderful trip down memory lane!
One night here I came across a variable voltage thread....I had a copper tube mod with a guitar volume pot on the hot side controlling two Trustfire batteries so I threw in my 2 cents...That thread turned into Notcigs and the first variable voltage device the Buzz...I beta tested the Buzz...Voltage was adjusted with a small screwdriver...We developed small screens that screwed into the 510 showing voltage set....Pro Vari followed soon after but the Buzz was first...Pro Vari even took a shot at the Buzz with the no screwdriver required ad....I beta tested every product produced by Noticigs.....I owned more than my fair share of Pro Varis as well....
Thank you! I've always wondered about that.
What happened to steeljan anyway?
If I recall correctly, some trolls actually found her home and showed up there (long before it became "fashionable" to do such idiotic things). Unfathomable (smh).
Such a shame! She's such a sweet person. I loved watching her videos. Her and Mistress Nomad.
Anyone use IBTanked cartotanks?
Me! Me! Me!
View attachment 780701 I loved these little carto tanks, they had a side fill screw to put your juice in :)
I love the side-fill!
I've recently found that I can't return to boges either, lol. Whole brick leftover. I can barely vape my Nautilus...
I'll take those off your hands, if you want.
Still have heads for the vapopoclypes.
Vapocalypses, love it! And, so true!

You have just sent me back to thinking about the old days here as well. Especially with the altoid box and old school cartimizer, not to mention the eGo. I started with that pen after the analog looking vape. Then went into a eLeaf unit. Still love that one. Made way to the Hana mods, still have two!

I fell off for a two years, allergy issue along with a life change. Bleh. Proud to be back into the loop!

Amazing some of the mods we had or didn't have back then. I'm surprised many of us are here without incident.

My big purchase one month that I raved over was my Plume Veil and Hana, I think I was one of the few in town to have those. Still do! My mods I believe came from up north and my PV came from CA. Then FT was a new thing for everyone!

Glad to see your still on the vape wagon!

Flashback mode activated:>

Some of my old skewl gear:

Super T T1
Super T Super Six
GG Slim
Protege
Little Chuck
ScrewDriver
Joye 510
Janty eGo
VP-PT
Juice Box (from Carlos)
Smoke 51

My journey started with the Smoke 51 (pure garbage) back in 2009 when I purchased a starter kit at a mall kiosk for something like $200!!!!!!! Yikes!

The VP-PT was considered hard core back then as you could vape at 5V.... We all thought we would die... And the only way it worked was it had to be plugged into a wall outlet! LOL

Then we had the dual battery stacking mess with mods going kaboom left and right, people buying fish tank filters to rebuild cartos and I believe it was GG who came out with an ultra low 2.4ohm coil! Again with that low ohm coil (LOL) we all thought we would die vaping on it...

I mentioned the CJB from Carlos early in this thread when posting pictures of the first Reos, but forgot about this video I have about it.

A scientific study of e-cigarettes referred to the eVic as new generation when it was published in Feb 2014 so it must have been widely available in 2013. Looking through this topic, it is no wonder that I had not gotten into vaping until much later--haha! Things have progressed a lot!

After ego style batteries I bought one of these (~2015)...

My first battery replaceable mod...I loved it.

I got lucky and caught the Riva ego as a first mod. 3.7v instead of 3.4. then I grabbed an unregulated joye for 4.2v. stayed there happily for a few years. very happy with a carto tank most of that time also.
my good times started when I got an istick and nautilus tank.
