first off, I'm not trying to scare anyone, I love my PV, just wondering if this was maybe even remotely related to ecigs at all.

I have been using PV's for about 9 weeks now, and about 2 days ago I started hacking up bits of phlegm during my daily hot steamy morning shower. One of the bits i hacked up had a tiny spot of red in it. I got a q-tip and collected the tiny red spot. It looked like blood. There has been no more since, and have had none since I started aside from this. Does this sound like it could be from PG or nicotine, or does it sound like maybe my lungs may have allready had bits of blood in them from analogs, before I started using my PV (The day I started PV's I quit analogs). I may also be sick with a cold, I don't know if that helps or not. I know at my worst on analogs (and other 'stuff') I had hacked up blood, in much lager quantities, so I thought maybe it was from pre existing 'junk' in my lungs.

Also, I sell the PV I use at a kiosk in our local mall, and I work 11 hour shifts. I usually chain vape there to draw attention and probably use 2.5-3 cartos a day. The strength varies from 24mg cartos down to 0mg cartos. I switch up the dosage all the time, depending on how my bodies feeling. Didn't know if it was related to PV's, if maybe it was an over use kind of thing.

Could this be related to PV use? Or am I over reacting to this tiny spot?

Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.

Did you make an appointment to see a doctor? Anything bright red would indicate new bleeding - older blood, even still "inside you" will turn black or brownish/rust colored.

Have you by any chance noticed any nosebleeds lately? That could possibly aspirate into your lungs, and they're not uncommon with vaping and with colder/dryer weather. To be honest, I probably wouldn't worry about it - its just a hard time of year to vape/smoke/breathe. But if you have any chest pain/violent coughing/LOTS of blood, like a teaspoon, it's definitely time to call a doctor and follow up. Treat yourself well right now anyway - the vaping is overall one step to being healthier than smoking, so why not make your health a priority overall now? :)

On regular cigarettes (with asthma) I was coughing up large amounts of phlegm daily, but all the mucous ceased immediately when I changed to vaping. One day while still using regular cigarettes I was coughing up my usual phlegm in a papertowel and I had a large amount of bright red blood. I checked my nose and could not find any blood whatsoever. It happened that I had a doctor's appointment the next day. The doctor was not concerned and said it was from my nose and not my lungs and due to the winter season and using heaters. She just said to add a humidifier. It had never happened before and has never happened again since vaping.
