In the ongoing pursuit of analog-like DIY, I was wondering if any of you have your own secrets for drying out, or nuttifying (word?) tobacco flavorings that are a bit on the floral side.

I currently have TPA Black Honey, RY4, Flue Cured, and Turkish; along with Latakia, Coumarin, and 555 from MBV.

Reading some previous tips and tricks, I've started using a "kicker" on all my tobaccos. I wonder what you think of it, and if I should be trying something else. I blend Acetyl Pyrazine, Peanut Butter, Vodka, and Vinegar at 30/30/30/10, then add 10% of that to my tobacco mixes.

Too much? Am I on the right track?

Hopefully your winds were a Santa Anna heading our way, here in San Diego.

So what's your favorite tobacco recipe? I think I miss titled my post. I was really looking for some insight; being pretty new to this.

My favorite tobacco recipe looks nothing like yours so I don't really have any tips or tricks:)

However, I am well aware of the don't spit into the wind rule. Just a couple of days ago we had winds of 50-90 mph. Just a typical spring storm:)

Use the base straight or add other ingredients to it. All flavors are TFA PG based flavors.

4% Asian Ry4 OR English Tobacco OR Virginia Firecured OR Marlboro
5% ethyl malto
5% caramel
1% Tobacco Absolute

Steep for 10 days and then vape straight or add to it.

3 ml of Asian Ry4 pre steeped base + 2 drops Vanilla Cupcake
3 ml English Tobacco pre steeped base + 2 drops English Toffee
3 ml Virginia Firecured pre steeped base + 2 drops hazelnut or add 4 drops of TFA Raisin
3 ml Marlboro pre steeped base + 4 drops black walnut

I revised this recipe from one by ScubaDan. He is well known in DIY. I modified it and came up with this. recipe above. I use it a lot.

I'm working on some more tobacco recipes right now. I love tobacco vape:)

I have some TFA 555 with acetyl pyrazine and whip cream and graham cracker and a touch of honey. Pretty tastey but not quite to my fave SI 555:)

I just ordered some more tobacco flavorings from Wizard Labs.
American Red Tobacco Flavor Concentrate (TFA)
Flue Cured Flavor (TFA)
Tobacco Absolute Blend PG ( TFA )
555 Type DK Tobacco Flavor Concentrate (TFA)

I want to make this:
Long Leaf
8% TFA 555 type DK Tobacco
2% TFA Brown Sugar
1% TFA Tobacco Absolute
1% TFA Ethyl Maltol

I like your mix. Very similar to mine except I quit using ethyl malto and substituted a little more caramel. What is Tobacco Absolute and where do you get it?
