That's it, I'm tired of looking for the ultimate tobacco flavor. Found a couple of flavors I enjoyed only to find they were completely different when reorded. I've decided to learn to either learn to enjoy unflavored or quit all and go on the patch. I placed an order from MFS for 250 ml, 24 ml nic, 100% veg . One 250 ml. P.G. , and one 500 ml emty amber bottle. End up with 12 ml. Nic unflavored 50/50. Am I on the right track? Use a R.M. 2 with average 1.2 micro coil. Looking for a good throat hit. Not concerned with making clouds.

Just throwing this out there...judging by your post count you're fairly new, when I first started vaping I did the same thing...I was convinced that I needed to replicate the taste of cigarettes with an ecig or it just wan't happening. One day while contemplating giving up vaping altogether I was on some vape site and saw one of the banner ads on the side going on about their new peach juice, I thought, peaches???, I like them but peaches and cigarettes have nothing in common and I thought what if the nic. gives the peach flavour some weird taste?...but I thought what the hell and ordered some of that 12mg peach juice...oh man!, that was it, never looked back...haven't touched a tobacco flavour since.

Just saying.

Pretty much all i vape is unflavored, 100% vg. Between 10-12 mg. I get everything from mfs.:D so id say youre on the right track.

But i spent almost a year trying this juice or that juice. It really comes down to what works for you. I really like some ry4s but hate others and even hate the ones i liked after reordering (much like you). Finally i just switched to unflavored because its cheap and always exactly the same every time, unlike flavored juices

I prefer unflavored. I ordered some more nicoticket to try, but I still have one Reo for unflavored. 100% VG. I ordered it in 100mg/ml from MFS. 6mg nicotine.
Granted I don't get throat hit with 100% vg, but it's amazing. I never get tired of it. I can make plenty with a liter of nicotine. VG goes quick haha, but I mix in a 240ml bottle I got at hobby lobby. Being 50/50, you should get a decent throat hit, but that's never my preference with vaping.

Flavored can just get old. One bottle is good. Get a second bottle it's bland. I've reviewed a lot of juices and tried many different flavors. It just leaves me wondering what took me so long to switch to unflavored.

Note: this bottle I mixed into was 120ml, but I didn't like the bottle so I switched to the 240ml ones.

Found a couple of flavors I enjoyed only to find they were completely different when reorded.

Some flavours need to age a bit say anything between a week and 6 weeks depending on the flavour. You can also try putting just a little bit of flavoured in the bottom of your Reo bottle and top up with unflavoured. All flavours I have ever bought are way too strong for me, but each person is different.

I placed an order from MFS for 250 ml, 24 ml nic, 100% veg . One 250 ml. P.G. , and one 500 ml emty amber bottle. End up with 12 ml. Nic unflavored 50/50. Am I on the right track?

Yes :)

Hi Beanbuzz, I was totally frustrated with trying to find a flavor I liked enough to keep coming back to, and a little over a year ago, decided to try my hand a DIY. I haven't looked back since. I vape tobacco flavors almost exclusively, one thing I accepted way back, your not ever going to find a juice that tastes exactly like a smoke. It's more like a flavor that is like the tobacco smells before being combusted. With DIY, if you choose to go that route, you can tailor the flavoring to your particular tastes, or go flavorless for that matter. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck staying off the smokes!

I'd say get yourself set up with DIY flavourless and get to a stable vaping standard (TH, nic level, PG/VG mix). Once you're in a comfortable, sustainable place, you can evaluate any other juice you think would catch your fancy - discount it if it's meh, add it to the rotation if it's enjoyable.

I have 3 ADV's, the last 2 of which I would likely never have found if I hadn't landed on my first - one that has never let me down and is my happy place when flavour seeking got frustrating. I know I've benefitted from a solid "whatever else happens, I've got this" base to work with.

ENAUD. What are the tobacco flavors you enjoy? I guess I could try my hand at mixing to get the right ratio for my taste.

I use Hangsen flavorings, No 5 @ 7%, Highway @ 7%, Arabic @ 3%, Those are some of my All day vapes. I also like the Inawera brand flavorings, They are super concentrated, I go by the recommended drops per ten ml with those and adjust. There's some great threads on tobacco flavors in the DIY section, ping me with a PM if you've got any questions, I'll try to help you out.

I too had the same issue, Hell at one point found all my normal flavors nauseating. DIY seems to be the cure for such maladies for me.

I'll vape my normal ADV's until my tastes change, rotating from tobacco to fruity to menthol, and when those are a bust, just go unflavored for a while to let my taste buds reset.

Everybody's different and it takes time, patience and the drive to not pick up the coffin nails when in a lurch.

Best of luck buddy

I use a base unflavored with a small percentage of ethyl maltol. Stumbled on it trying to recreate Malty. (Malty seems to give the same satisfaction as smoking). After a couple of weeks on my mixture the malty did not taste as good as before. It is all what you are used to, sometimes simple is the best route.
