A Ti build should run fine at up to .3 ohms on those mods. Could be a problem with the firmware on them. I can't remember if it is updateable on those like it is on the IPV4s but if it is you could try reinstalling the latest update and see if that helps.

What i do not understand is that i have the same problems on both IPV3Li and IPVD2. And i have also reinstalled the firmware on my IPV3Li to similar results.

I am really thinking its the wire now. The Ti i got is very dirty and needs a lot of cleaning. Even after cleaning, some portions still remain dark/blackish whilst some portions are shiny. Shiny is what we want isn't it?

did you do well in chemistry class? ;)
oxygen and Ti bind together to make TiO2, which is non bio-degradable, inert, and relativitly safe... as for being a carcinogen...nope...

You just said why it is dangerous... You're right, it is non biodegradable, inert, and it also isn't water soluble.... Now, what happens to non biodegradable substances when those substances get in your lungs? Why is Titanium dioxide ok for toothpaste, and food, but was removed from Dunkin Doughnuts's powdered sugar doughnuts? When you look at a substance, "relatively safe" is applied towards one application... Inhaling the substances are totally different. TiO2 IS relatively safe for ingestion, but not inhalation. They have found it to be carcinogenic in lab animals when inhaled, and have thus said that it is a possible carcinogen to humans... I would hate to see vapers be used as lab rats to see how carcinogenic it is to humans.

Again, do your research... This time, don't just ask about TiO2... look for research done on TiO2 inhalation. We all stopped smoking for a reason... I want vaping to be as safe as possible. I'm not ruling out Titanium Dioxide, but you just have to be more careful with it. Remember, most of us vapers DO inhale.

Gave up on Titanium for the time being. Put back in Kanthal into all my tanks. Will mess around with Ti again when I have the time or someone can provide a viable solution.
This is where I buy all my wire from and its always been high quality. http://www.wireandstuff.co.uk/
It's a UK based company, not sure if they do international shipping but you could email them and find out if they ship to your area. :thumb:

So I made a trip down to my friend's place who seems to have it spot on with Ti coils. Lo and behold, his vapes tasted exactly the same as mine. I had to crank up all the mods to 500degF in order for me to have what I like to call a "good vape". So it's just a matter of preference. I will be sticking to Kanthal from now on as it gives a fuller, richer, warmer vape that I prefer. Ti is more suitable for those who like a colder, cleaner, more refreshing vape.

I don't feel comfortable setting my mods to 500degF since it's at the higher end of the range. (Max 570degF).

I agree here, forget the name of the e-juice, but there was a big scare of I think it was the original version of either "Unicorn's Milk" or "Unicorn's Blood" that had titanium dioxide, the scare was so large the maker had to reformulate the recipe, the above lab study had a lot to do with the scare.
