I simple rub down with vodka, moonshine, or everclear before use will clean most machining oil residues and oily coatings. Next would be to gently torch the wire before working with it, just enough to get it to start glowing then rinsing it off.

Wow can't believe I was dumb enough to not think of getting rid of the coating ha! Are the titanium coils easier to dry burn and clean than ni200? I use 30awg ni200 on dual coil and I just re build instead of clean them due to being such a pain!

Titanium has a higher melting point, and is not as soft so easier to work with, pulse fire clean, you just have to be careful not to get it temp where it starts creating a titanium dioxide layer to protect itself, which is just starting to make the coil/wire glow. Haven't used any Ti1 wire yet myself, only 1 TC mod, an older Vaporshark rDNA40, still bouncing around with which TC mod to get next, EvicVT, SnowWolf, or other TC mod that supports Ti1

So does vapour shark rdna 40 not work with ti1 wire? I presumed it would seen as its temp control?
