You should only feel resistance one the last quarter turn of the top cap. Anything more and you'll be compressing the oring too much. That may be why your battery is getting stuck to it. When I adjusted my center post to make my rda sit flush, I also had to change the bottom tube oring to a thinner one.

that sounds logical. i didnt know to do that , wish i had. i usually like to view the how tos but i couldnt find a total breakdown vid. now i cant loosen the threading again on bottom cap locking ring. i dont want to strip them. im sure david can take care of that properly without damage. its no problem. i have my little ti wrapped up and ready to send out. now that im used to it, i will miss it for a week , but rather have it done right. its just too bad im out a new battery and possibly a second. i assume its nor safe to use a battery with the plastic covering compromised,

welll finally got it out , bottom cap unscrewwd out, was able to tap battery off, messes up outer covering of battery. i put everything back together. put a new one in tok it out a few times again now anorher one is stuck . simehow when i screw down the to cap it shoves it in tight. i did adjust the center pin so my atty woul be flush but it end up being too deep and jams the battery in

Sorry you had those troubles, but we all must live and learn. I had similar issues when I first started using my Panasonic batteries in my old P+, which are a few mm longer than the AWs. I had a lot of trouble with the battery getting stuck to the o-ring until I switched to a thinner one, but fortunately they never got stuck quite that bad.

Still no movement on my tracking # as of yet Oh well, I think I was one of the last few of the 30 to order. it'll give me more time to get some more batteries. In the meantime I'll just live vicariously through the photos you guys post *hint, hint* ;-)

At least Im used to little set backs .

It might not be a bad idea to include your fatty when you ship off your noisy cricket. Otherwise they might not be able to recreate the problem well enough to fix it.

I was thinking the same as I have had no issues with adjusting the 510 connector.. Everything fits like a glove on mine..

The Tanbur, makes a world of difference. I love that tip! I have to look around for my spare Tanbur. My ELA is tipless at the moment.

I would like to ask where is my TI? I have sent you 2 emails requesting an update and no answer from you what so ever. The original tracking info still has not been shipped. Why may I ask and when?

There are several people who have not received theirs yet. If the tracking info is still not showing its updated then it is still being prepped. This is standard operating procedure for Super-T. You don't have anything to worry about.
Opdeemist, and don't feel bad, I bought the "last" one and I haven't even received a shipping notice yet. Not like you were skipped out on. Once you get your mod, you'll know then it was well worth the wait.
