I had the Titanium Simplicity 18650 apart tonight. And, I forgot to look to see if there was a number. I don't know if they have numbers? Won't know till next time. I am too tired tonight, to balance that screw again!

Cucco Dear, As I was reading a few of your recent posts, particularly the one about your stroke recovery, I envisioned the situation you described regarding the involuntary muscle "twitch". I'm glad that you could see the humor in that, and you would share that with the rest of us. More importantly, I'm glad that you have moved ahead in your recovery and hopefully those are a thing of the past.

You and Anavidfan are both a class act, and contribute much to this forum. I'm sure it's been said before, and I hope you'll forgive me for pointing out the obvious... again. Your presence is appreciated and your comments are respected. Indeed, you're both "Super T Babes"

Now, back to that "twitch".. Here's link to what is called a "mechanical screw starter" Let me explain before your mind (and other's) wanders off to the gutter. It is a spring loaded device that holds the head of a screw on the end of a handle so that it may be inserted in a confined opening... Hello??? my eyes are up here..
You might want to take extra precautions when handling one of these little units, as they look like they could double as a "weapon of convenience" in an action movie. So, don't be gettin' all Pierce Brosnan on us...
I hope you don't mind a little good nature'd fun

There are many styles and price points to choose from, and you can find them at just about anywhere that sells tools. They're quite handy, and considering how much it "simplifies" the process of taking apart your Simplicity... David might want to sell them on the website (hint, hint) I'm surprised that someone else hasn't mentioned these before.

Take care Sweetie

Thank you very much for the extremely kind words!

I have taken some big hits in life. Along the way, I learned to look for the humor in the worst of situations. It's the only way to survive reasonably intact. It's all good!

Priscilla and me. 'Super-T Babes'. I like it!

I am going to get a 'mechanical screw starter'!

Love your humor! You made me smile! Thank you so much for that! :)

Great tool, didnt know those existed. Today as a matter of fact, I have been dropping everything. It took me 2 hours to make 20 twists of R and NR wire, usually takes me 1/2 hour. I kept losing my grip.

I also dropped my kayfun screw , thank goodness it didnt fly into the sink and down the drain.

Youre so nice to think of things like that.

I just got my Piko3 wire welder. Would you like me to make you some joined wires? PM me on it if you do. I'd like to get a little practice in with it.

Did you drop a KFL post screw? I never take them off. Should I?

Just thought .. stupid me .. I'm sure you are talking about the fill screw. Shake my head. Senior moment!

A couple a few questions
1. Are the end caps titanium?
2. Can the kick be used with a 18490 imr?
3. What does this weight?
4. What length is it with the kick and weight?
TIA

Only 32 were made in the 18350 size, and afaik only 2 in the 18650 size, and David has not stated if he will be making any more. But to answer your questions:

1) Yes
2) Only with the 18650 size, but yes. The 18350 size came with a Ti Kicklet that supports the use of a Kick with an 18350.
3) Almost nothing (Don't have a scale handy to weigh atm, but it is unbelievably light)
4) 350 version is approx. 2-5/8"

Good luck finding one.. As 9ball_AJ stated only 32 were made and those of us who have it, are NOT letting go of it..

There was recently a classifies ad where the guy was almost offering his house for one and he had NO luck..

The other day I was offered a Caravela for it and instantly passed..
