How hard would it be to make up a few of these and offer them as options, or spares????
Not hard. Don't know they would bother for such a small 'limited edition' run. I would imagine they have a few spares for their own use, when needed for customer refurbish jobs. The people who bought the blems would buy them.
Top caps and bottom buttons are always the biggest expense on a mod.. I would assume a Titanium top cap, bottom button & locking ring combo would be priced well over $250.. I am guessing in the $275-$300 price range just for these caps.
Look at another popular manufacturer (via the US reseller)
The entire mod sells for $140. For a replacement non titanium top cap it's $40 and bottom button is $75. The tubes only for this mod sells for $40.
So I look at the Titanium like this. $400 for the whole mod. Since the blemished tubes sold for $50 lest say regular Ti tube would sell for $90. The kicklet sells for $70. That's only about $160'ish of the entire $400 price.. All that is left unpriced here is the top cap, the bottom button and the locking ring..
I suppose he could make them up and sell them as a top cap and bottom button package but the price for them would be HIGH!

I guess I was unclear.. I was thinking more along the lines of producing them in Stainless, as an option for the "regular Simplicities"...
