A Wizard Evolved, a GP Paps X, a Hellfire dripper and a Senio dripper..

Pretty crazy stuff as what he traded is easily worth about $1,500 (or more) in real value..

Wow. Must have really wanted it. But, I can see it. If $ isn't an issue in your world, and you really want something.....

I think a lot of hardcore collectors missed out on the Ti as maybe they didn't know it was for sale..

Now they will give up tons to score one! Only 32 made of something, never mind with the Super T name attached, makes it a serious unicorn!

I was kind of shocked that the one I just snarfed actually lasted 30+ minutes..

I guess the same applies as most didn't even know one was posted on the site for sale..

Everything he traded (while a few are also considered unicorns) can be purchased again with the right amount of effort and cash.. The Ti won't be made again so 32 is all there will ever be and trying to locate one will be very, very hard for the peeps who try..

Now that Ti 18650 you have... Only 2 = You could almost ask for a house in exchange.

^^ I think this is spot on. Any of the hardcore collectors who didn't come into this particular sub forum during the two days or so they were available wouldn't have even known they existed. I'm thankful for that, since I dragged my feet quite a bit about pulling the trigger :p Glad I did eventually go for it, too :)

Its their own darn fault. I kept telling people that are collectors of rare and expensive things, but either for some reason never heard of Super T or they dont show any interest. Even when I show them photos. People look at ELA or the Plus's or Simplicity and kinda look and say "oh, thats nice" yet they are having heart attacks over so many devices that are more " showy" or have engravings and serial numbers on them.

I just let it all roll off, I dont care if I impress anyone, the things I have have only to impress one person , and thats "ME"

If someone 'claimed' to be a collector then said they have never head of Super T ---> I'd have to look at them like they were full of shizzz..

It's the internet, I can 'claim' I am a collector, I can claim I am rich, I can claim I am good looking, heck I can claim to be anything I want..

I seriously doubt there is a single authentic and real collector that has never heard of Super T..

I know exactly what you mean, ana. I brought my ELA to a vape meet a few months ago and it didn't elicit a single comment. In fact, I've never actually seen in-person a SuperT mod other than the ones I own, though to be fair I haven't met all that many vapers out in my neck of the woods, either

Actually I don't think it's that farfetched. Super-Ts are not really hyped, they're not particularly "fancy", they're not serialized (mostly), they're none of the things that today's collectors value as collectible. They're not meant to be collectible, they're tools. Tools are boring.

I'd find it very hard to believe..

I'm not even a collector and I know of 99.9% of the mods they seeking just by reading the forum(s) that are out there.. And I'm not even trying to one up the collector next to me..

I have never met a serious collector who had never heard of Super T. Maybe they were not interested in Super T because the mods were not SN# but they knew of the company / products..

I do agree though that they generally want a SN # item..

Anywho... Their loss as I shall have 2 of these bad boys in my grubby paws come Tuesday..

I dropped my Ti awhile ago and it never hit the ground.

LOL, but not really funny.
It amazes me how quick my reflexes can be when it comes to certain things. I routinely drop dishes, food, camera, lenses ( the camera and lenses never really touched the ground, I used my knee and my fuzzy slipper to cushion the 6,000 dollar hand ground 4 x 5 Schneider lens ) thank god)

I still cried like an Idiot, my Dad scolded me about how to properly hold a lens, I let him vent. Later I told him I was sorry, but that I had it in my hand securely, but my nerves spazzed out and involuntarily went into little convulsions. He felt bad after.

You're under the misconception that I caught it.

Well... It's a number that's in the top 10.

I really don't want to post who it is. I suppose that user can say he traded and then we update the list or maybe the new owner will come here and update it (doubtful).

Odd.. I feel the need to update it but think in doing so I'd be calling out the person who traded..

I'd be calling out the person who betraded..

Why should trading be such a "hush hush" ? Its not like someone has to feel bad. Maybe they just were not "in love" with it. Everyone had different needs. The new person is happy and hopefully they will love it.

Maybe constant changing of the 18350s is too much work, I know I have to change my batteries every couple hours.
Any way, unless that person said not to "tell" I would not worry about it.

Well I caught a wee bit of grief when I announced that I cancelled my ELA...

I think I will leave it up to the old owner or the new owner to update the list for now..

I know who the new owner is and what # he has so if neither of them update it, I might do so in the future..

I do agree though that it's no big deal to me.. If the Ti was not for me I would have already sold it. Some mods are not for everyone and everyone had different preferences.

Many love the ELA and I am sure that if I was into telescopic mods I would have loved it as well. But I am into Super Tiny and Super lighT so the Ti is my ultimate unicorn mod!

I would not look down on anyone who traded or sold their Ti..

Ive been chugging away on my little Noisy Cricket and was wondering how low of a resistance is safe to use on a 350 battery. I dont want to be using unsafe resistance. I am using just at 1.0. I read somewhere that using to low of resistances on smaller batteries might be pushing the safety.

As long as you don't pull more than 6Amps out of a good 18350, you're ok. 1ohm is great. I go as low as a 0.8ohm on an AW IMR 18350 and they perform wonderfully. I even get a good two hours out of it before its time to swap them out.
