If it's stuck to the oring, pushing the switch in should loosen it.

And shaking the crap out of your cricket doesn't dislodge the battery? Is it stuck on a sticker or do you think your battery might have expanded?

Do you have an old corded telephone with the handset that unscrews at the mouthpiece and ear, like the sort of phone you used to have to lease from the telco? Unscrew the mouthpiece and see if there's a magnet in there you can use.

If not, how about any big cabinet speakers with the backs exposed?

Or in the trunk of your car, are the magnets of the rear deck speakers visible under the lip?

Or if all else fails, just ask your boyfriend to go to harbor freight or an auto parts store for a magnetic pick up tool. :) (Not that you aren't capable of getting a pick up tool yourself. But combining tools and rescuing princesses is what we live for. It'd be a shame to deny him the opportunity.)

Any possibility to get this? Or is it all sold out?

All gone, I'm afraid. There were only 30 (or 32? Still not clear on that.) made.

What kind of battery? Sounds like a battery failure and the battery expanded. We've never had a problem with batteries getting stuck in our tubes. Take the cap off and bang it hard into your palm (might want to put a glove on).

its an aw imr 18350, if it did expand would it still be usable? the battery before this one had to be shaken/ slapped out, it did not just slip out. maybe there is a natch of these batteries that are thicker? Let me know if i can send my little cricket back to you so it can be looked at properly, dont want to hurt it. :)
