And hopefully if he does make them they aren't $500. If a regular SS 18350 is 120 and the Ti is 400 that would put a $150 atty at 500 which I'd have to think long and hard about lol

IIRC He stated no because of the intricate machining necessary for the Strata. I wouldn't totally discount the possibility of a Ti Strata being made sometime in the future, but I certainly wouldn't count on it. I too would really like to see 30 or so Ti Strata's made and offered to owners of the Ti Simplicity, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
That being said, I have been really enjoying a HF dripper on my Ti Simp. The weight of a small atty does not overwhelm the lack of weight of the mod. I have a feeling that an SS Strata on the Ti Simplicity will still be quite the light and small setup. I can't wait for them to be released to the public!!

Keep in mind that a portion of that 400$ cost on the Ti Simplicity is the Titanium Kiklet that comes with it, as well as the extra brass locking ring that comes with it. So the same setup in SS would be 120 + 45 + 10 or 175$. If you took that into consideration it would put a Ti strata at 340-350$. Of course, you can't really compare pricing this way, because you're not just looking at material cost, but cost of various machining operations, which you can't really compare without knowing what the time involved in each is (as well as cost of equipment wear/breakage). I'd love a Ti strata, but I'm not holding out hope for one, and I'm definitely not holding out hope that it would be reasonably in my price range.
I'm sure spending 150$ on an SS simplicity Strata would not be a bad investment - super-t gear never is. You can always make 85-90% of your retail price back on the classifieds at a minimum, if a Ti version was to come out.

I've never been able to live with any full size silica SS atty (Ody, KF) due to their weight even on a SS mod.
I feel it defeats much of the purpose of a lightweight, diaphanous mod to be paired with a dumbbell.
Plus i consider it an insult to the mod itself. Nothing less than it's own class should be introduced to it.
It is a crime of Lese-Majeste.

Ok. I am freaking the F out. My package hit Mississauga Ontario on the 28th. No apparent issues with customs, cleared in 7 minutes. Zero movement since. Typically only takes 3 days max to make it out west from there. I am officially hitting the panic button. My Rocket atty made it from GB to home in less time.
