How did Cucco get hers way before everyone else.... I should have a number to add to the list tomorrow!

I got mine a few days ago. Ironically, my brother got his a day before me even though I ordered days before him. I'll post my serial number (and his as well) after I start playing with it. Been too busy with work to set her up.

First time that ever happened. I will probably be the last to get the Strata. :)

Cool!
I was hoping to get the strata with this package..but no luck. maybe next week

"Cause she bought the most toys....
this is a good possibility. Super-T's most beloved customer:)
I just got lucky this time. :)

THey are sent out in order of the time the orders were placed. Cucco must have been right at the gate.

Kind of weird. Cucco was probably the first, but she is down towards the bottom of the sn list. Just got mine today and it is 2 numbers before hers. You would think sn would go in order of shipment and/or order placement.

I believe, SN's were random. They were, with the 350's.

Yup SN's were random. I ordered the very first 350 Ti and my SN was in the 30's.

Thanks ^^^

I think, the new owner of the other TI, is going to like the SN. :)

No, it's not #1. I would have liked to give them #1. :(

I am sure he will be happy no matter what the number.

I will have to post a few pics later.

Titanium is a great metal, love the look. It is a smudge magnet though. I got the brass lock ring along with it to give me options.
I also have that 18350 satin titanium tube I got from Raqball. I am seriously considering giving it a brushed finish rather than satin.

I have a question though. Mine had 4 washers on the button screw when I took it apart to check sn. Does more or less washers give you more throw? Reason I ask is because the stock spring is a bit too soft and my light spheroid will sometimes fire it standing upright. There is not much throw with 4 washers. Barely touch it and it fires. I guess I could just play around with it and find out.

I will take some pics of the various options I have and post them later.

I prefer 3 washers with my SS 18500.

I would have to agree, except for the fact that 3 washers gives me intermittent fires. Sometimes it fires and sometimes not.
I also notice with the 18350 tube I only need to use 2 washers.

I am going to post a few pics in the pics thread

Re: TI 18500

If AW IMR Batteries, what o-ring are you using? Thick or thin? The thick one, came installed.
It came with 2 in the tube and 2 with a washer in a bag.
I put the 2 that I thought were spares in the 350 tube and kept originals in 500 tube.

I am using aw batteries. I will try the thin ones. Maybe this is why I had such a hard time getting the top cap tightened down:facepalm:

OK Cucco,
I have to use 1 thick and 1 thin with my Aw batteries otherwise I get rattle from the battery. Also I have to use 4 washers. 3 makes the button really crunchy and intermittent fires still. Throw is real short with 4 washers and stock spring is too soft. cannot stand upright without firing, using a standard size atty.

Got my Ti 500 today! Mine came with two thick o-rings and three washers installed. With one thick and one thin, i get battery rattle with all my aw and efest batteries. With two thick, I really have to crank the top cap hard to get it to close all the way. No in between with those so I guess, unless I find different size o-rings, I'll be cranking. ;) With three washers, I found the same thing as INFRNL, button crunchy and hard to get it to fire. So I started tinkering, and I think I know why. It's the length off the spring. With three washers, the distance traveled mashes the spring up so that it is blocking the pin from making contact. Well I didn't want to cut the spring or anything before getting feedback here, so I replaced it with a spring from another device. This spring is very slightly stiffer, and a good bit shorter. Working great now with three washers, and doesn't fire when standing. I'll get some pics soon!
