Hi all, Can I ask the RRP for Ti 18350? Thanks

The 18350 was sold with the titanium kiklet, SS locking ring and Brass locking ring - $399.99
The 18500 was without those extras and was $299.99

If your 350 is missing those items, I would price it using the RRP for the 18500.

Ti Simplicity locking rings only do fit... Ti Simplicitys

mine only came with the brass one so I tried swapping:t it didn't work
SS locking ring is loose on Ti tube and brass one doesn't fit in SS tube :(

Did you get it from Sam?

When Sam got it from me it had both the SS and the Brass locking rings. Maybe holla at him and see if he forgot to send them to you..

got it from eoin who, I believe, got it from sam

just checked the bag of spares and... I was wrong: I also do have the SS ring :)
(the one that came with brass ring only is a spare Ti tube)

cheers mate

Holy cow #17 is making it's rounds.. LOL

As far as I know, my other 2 are still with the same peeps...

I am here every so often I just don't post much anymore.

Currently getting ready for a coast to coast bicycle ride in the fall from California to Florida.. Going by myself and it should be a BLAST and take me a few months..

:toast:

I recently read this about Ti mods......
The threading of the GP PAPS X Ti Edition needs to be kept always in a very clean condition and slightly lubricated, due to titanium's high coefficient of friction.

Titanium and Titanium Alloys - Wear Behaviour and Lubrication
I did not know this about Titanium....

Fortunately we had little to no problems with the couple of batches of TI's we made. Titanium requires special machining technique and tooling. It isn't the metal itself per se. Though Titanium does have higher friction values it can be overcome with tooling and technique. Titanium metal essential peels/rolls off when machined and doesn't break a chip like SS does making it very difficult to machine if you aren't experienced with it.
