I can never get you in chat, and I saw a post that was in WoW's forum, and I wanted to explain to people that might not know you on here.

Ok guy's Addy is a very nice girl and she has a lot of information. What seems to you guy's as attacking, is her trying to give a point with what you are saying. I used to think she was attacking me until I learned how she is. She is a very kind person and she doesn't want you to get the wrong idea's in your head like the topic of vaping while pregnant. So what you guy's have to do is kinda read what she has to say but don't take it to hart. Read over what you said and see if it is stupid. I am a person who says/does stupid things, but when someone does or says something stupid I jump the gun and yell at them for it. She is just looking out for your safety and telling you not to do something that might hurt you.

All in all Addy doesn't mean any harm, she is trying to correct you. God knows how she has helped me out a lot on here. I never used proper grammar or anything until I came here. She has also helped me with a lot of information that I couldn't find anywhere. I do not want to see anymore bickering with family members please. If you want to argue with someone please pm them or take it to another forum. Do not fight here.

I just have to chime in to add my personal admiration for the lovely lady.

Pay more attention to WHAT she's saying instead of HOW she says it.

It's not a lack of sensitivity, it's a lack of common reference. I know she's several bucket loads smarter than I am. I suspect that talking to us is much like an adult talking to a two-year-old... If you tell them something that doesn't fit into their frame of reference, the two-year-old will frequently just refuse to accept it. Often, that's what I think causes others problems with her.

Last night, for the first time, I had a nice, long telephone conversation with Addy. I found her to be a kind and warm person, ready to help & share her knowledge.

I need to weigh in on Lynn's behalf too; I've learned more from her posts than probably all others combined. She is short, to the point, and is always careful to provide scientifically defendable answers. It can be very frustrating to politely answer the profusion of repeated questions over and over again, so she may come across in a terse tone on occasion, but only when it's the 17th time she's answered or clarified the same question. I have found myself in the same boat at times, and she's come to my defense when I had been accused of similarly "overly technical" or "insensitive" posts. We need more people with tech cred to continue to participate in this forum, even though they tend to get weary from wading through so many unnecessary and verbose inquisitions (can some people at least TRY to use the forum search engine?). If you want to read her post, go ahead, you might actually learn something; if not, skip and move on.

KK - you most especially. I have noticed a marked change in your writing, and I unloaded on you pretty hard - harder than usual. I really appreciate how you took it to heart and the enormous effort (and strides) you've made to be so well-thought in your writings since I dumped on you. Thank you, more than anything, for that. I apologize that I haven't mentioned it before now, but I _have_ noticed, and others have too. I know how much effort it takes to alter a long-standing writing style, and it's amazing you've been so consistent at it. Thanks!

PawPaw - it was a fun conversation, thanks! I'm no less excited. I sent two PCB to protofab at about 5am, before taking off for my morning ride. They'll be bad, they always are, but it's a start. A couple weeks of that and we'll be gold.

And again, thanks to you all in the thread - no slight intended by not singling you out. It does mean a lot! I am admittedly... abrupt [to be kind to myself this morning], but it is the way I tend to function. I'm already on to the next thing before I finish the current thought. It's my own proverbial cross. I've never managed to effect a lasting change from that tendency... I appreciate that it's recognized!

I know quite a few very intelligent women..I mean "Rocket" smart, they are my favorites! I cultivate as many as possible in hopes of learning by osmosis.The one thing they all have in common is big hearts and some small lack of social skills. Because they spent so much time in pursuit higher education that they skipped the "tea dances"..lol.
I do notice that they lack a tolerance for the intolerant those who refuse to think before they speak..

Lynn is a great gal and I appreciate her efforts here. She answers the hard questions day after day. I know how frustrating it can be to answer them for the nth time. I also understand the search engine can get confusing.

What upsets me is those who take it upon themselves to be the arbitrators of forum etiquette and of other peoples replies. Get a grip..sometimes we all have bad days and sometimes we get carried away. Just let it slide or let the mods deal with it.

The one thing I do know is that Lynn can handle herself.

Absolutely. Her areas of expertise are much broader and deeper than mine, and she's been nothing but a sweetheart to me when I've needed help with things that were probably easier to her than nose picking. Not that she hasn't lol'd at me once or twice, but being lol'd at by 'Lynn is better than a compliment from some people, in my book.

Ok, ok guys - you all convinced me. We all deserve some understanding and fresh starts.

I'm new, I'm stressed and out of e-juice.

Everything is cool & will be better tomorrow when I put down the analogs for the third time in a month.

I just wanted to close the thread so we would stop arguing about nothing worth arguing about.

This should be a happy place for everyone! It's all good and no problemo. I'd just like to suggest if it is, we pm, instead of post so we can all move on with vaping.
