vaping is an individual thing...

Some are perfectly happy with Ego', various types of mechs., it's all personal...I used PS mechs solely for almost 4 years, now I am use a VV mod with a tank, and or a rba...it's personal preference...really not just economics...

Some like mechs, some BF', some VV or whatever...to each your own...Vape up and enjoy!

True enough. I know a two people who have been happily vaping away on cig a likes for over two years who are perfectly happy with them. I'm just glad that there are options for folks like me too.

I apologize. I judged you to soon.

9 months and 27 days ago I started with the Blu ecig. A month later I found ECF and the eGo. And two months later I bought a zmax. All the while laughing at those of you paying $150+ on a single mod. I said it was stupid and I would NEVER spend $200 on a mod. Fast forward till today when I'm a hypocrite but admitting I was wrong. The performance, consistency and reliability of this stuff is second to none. I'm not going to run out and start collecting mods or anything but my standards have certainly gone up. I've liked most of the vape gear I've bought but nothing was perfect. Everything I own works fine but has some fiddliness(a word?) to it or a design flaw or some other feature that bugs me. I know how I like to vape. It took me a while, trying juices and testing out mods but I finally found it. It took me about 6 months to really settle down on my perfect vape. When I finally did it changed what I shopped for. I was no longer trying find what I liked. I was trying to fine tune what I liked. So after figuring it out and putting together all the features I wanted in one tube mod and a carto tank, this is what came out. A matte Nemesis w/Salt n Pepper carto tank+kick2+18500+HHV Huntsman.

I can admit when I'm wrong. In fact I was so wrong I'm kind of giddy:oops:

And that is a really great looking mod!

DAMN!!! I read the title and rolled up my sleeves...I just changed the water heater in my house and it went...not so good. Then the wife wanted to help by asking questions....started to go a little worse...God bless her. After 6 trips to Home Depot and inventing some new cuss words for the builders who built this house, we have hot water again and I already apologized to my wife, who may or may not have gotten in the line of fire for a couple of the new cuss words. I just sat down to have a vape and relax...still a little bent out of shape and I saw the title of this thread. I thought "PERFECT!!! I'm going OFF!!!"

But NOOOOO!!! You tricked me! Congrates on the new rig though! She's a beauty! I really like the Nemesis and I do want a SnP tank! I'm happy for you...thanks for cheering me up.

Now off to find a clone/ don't clone thread!

The op sure hits home for me....I've wasted so much money trying not to spend 300 dollars and "go big"....clearomizers, cartos, eGo's,....I've got a cupboard full of vape gear that never quite satisfied.

If only I'd just started with something that could fulfill my need right off the bat...
Sigh....

My biggest mistake was when I said "I will never spend that kind of money on a mod!"....to my wife. She will never let me forget I said that. She would never deny me of my toys but she always has a blast reminding me of what I've said.

Sometimes vaping get to me. It's always something. Feeding to much juice, not enough juice, crappy carto, dirty connections, etc, etc, etc. Some days it just doesn't want to cooperate. Since I've put this mod together I've had no problems. Not one single glitch. It's been nothing but push the button and vape. Consistence is where my money's at. If you show me a good vape with every single button push and without fail, ill show you my money.

I did the same thing. I fought it and fought it. Lord knows I was warned. The provari crew tried to recruit me and the Reo clan preached their word to me plenty of times. I just laughed them off. Now I'm looking at my vape gear thinking I could sell most of what I have now. Ill never use most of it ever again.

People who own a Rolls-Royce would never drive anything else but a chevette will get you to 7-11 for your slurpee just fine. There is something for everyone in vaping and we all get our Slurpees. The fact that people aren't smoking is what is important, it isn't important what they are using to do it. Grats on finding what you love, it is fun.

Lol...
I really like that I can throw an eGo with a carto tank on it in my pocket. But being more of a "throat hit" person, I've got to keep it high PG/high nic and fresh battery to satisfy me.

I'll go to local shops and try others' mods, and even with little/no PG and/or nic, I get that throat hit.

Every time I do this, I would feel the "just buy it already" bug a little bit more.

I am also guilty of telling my fiance that would never spend that kind of money on vaping. ;)

(Luckily, she has converted to vaping, but as a very moderate vaper. So her pink eGo twist lasts her two days on a charge, no problem.)

I took her to Vapetoberfest this weekend, she was just in shock seeing some of the more exotic and eccentric mods people are using. So when I showed her the kingmod and provari mods, she was like "Oh, those look small...."

Not going to start collecting.

That's what I said when I bought my EVOD. "Oh this will be all I will need." A ProVari, REO Grand VV and a Protovape DNA 20 on the way later.

My wallet is still screaming. 8-o
