So here's the thing...I use cartos/tanks for my all day kinda thing. Always have. I never have any problems with them and if I do, it's a quick fix. Not a big deal if I'm out and about. I'm relatively satisfied with the vape from cartos.

I do like fiddling and I like experimenting with other devices just to compare and learn how to do stuff. Most recently has been the kayfun Lite. Wow...nothing like cartos...what an unbelievable product. It's a simple build...I use a 1.2 ohm micro coil and cotton. It's amazing. I've had an AGA T+ for quite some time and have had crappy luck with it. I'd put it away and get it back out again when I was calmed down and bored. I finally have it performing well, but I had to use the Petar K method. The vape is great but I don't like anything else about genesis style atomizers...tilting, falling over and leaking....they're cool but not for me. I do use my Kayfun almost all day now but have a carto/tank in my pack as a back up. Sometimes the cotton in the Kayfun goes south without much warning.

Is an Ithaka worth the effort? How does the vape compare to that of a Kayfun? I like how they look, the build seems pretty in depth but looks like fun and I'd get use to it....there's a knock off for 65 bucks that seems to be almost as good as the GG... just not sure. If it's an amazing vape, I'll probably try it .

Definitely try it, I don't have an Ithaka, but I do have an Iatty, Ossysseus, and Penelope. They're all great, I'm sure the Ithaka is the same. They just do what they're supposed to do. A little learning curve, but really they are pretty easy to set up. Once you get the hang of setting the juice control for your different thicknesses of juices it's just set it and vape it till the tanks empty, wash rinse repeat. It's also nice these atty's don't mind being in any postion, they don't leak.
The only issue I've had is when refilling, on occasion, it will pressurize the tank a little and push some juice through which comes out the botton, but a little technique puts a stop to most of that.

only thing to remember is it takes a non resistance/resistance wire coil setup, i know some people have gotten around it but its the only thing that kept me from getting one. i like the kayfun wrap and go simplicity.

Your missing out the Ithy is a great atty Im going on 3 months with the same set up. Anybody can set up a resistance wire coil it takes a real atomizer setteruper to use NR/R wire;-) I have a dual micro coil 1.6 ohms vapes like a champ. I take it to work alot its a very dependable atty.

I was that way I did not like any string attys until the ODY. But I like making the NR/R wire coils I know some people think its a pain but I enjoy the ritual.

Where do you find allready made cheap ones ?

I've only personally bought the ones from COV, so I can't really vouche for any other wires, nevertheless here's some cheap ones.Mod Parts

If you google search "ready wires for Ithaka" you'll find a bunch of different vendors selling them made from differing materials and different ohm ratings.
