Thanks to those of you who offered to help me move up in equipment on another thread....here's what I have in my infancy:

2 Ego Twists
2 Innokin vv v3's
Couple of EVOD dual bottom coil glass tanks
Couple of EVOD regular BC tanks
Couple of Smok NBC clearomizers
Lots of T3's etc. that I never use.

First, I'm female so not interested in anything that looks like a grenade. LOL During the day, I'm in an office so need something portable and stealthy, which the itaste Vv's are pretty good for. I have a guy vaping in my office who is about to get us all banned with his stinky juice that even I find pretty bad so I'm careful at work not to offend nearby co-workers, not to vape walking down the hall etc. I even go outside with the smokers a couple times a day. At home, anything goes.

At one time I said I'd never rebuild coils but I've changed my mind about that. I clean tanks and coils pretty much daily as I vape a lot of sweet juices that tend to gunk up my coils and I'm a clean freak anyway. It would be nice to quit throwing them away.

What I'd like is to improve flavor but maintain some convenience. Rebuilding coils seems like something I could get into to some extent. I've already spent more than I ever did smoking so I'd like to get something I could stick with for a while and enjoy all these NT juices even more.

I started vaping in 2010 and quickly gave it up and went back to smoking with an occasional vape episode mostly when traveling. This time, it's been about 4 months of two smokes a day and 30 days (today) since my absolute last cigarette, a 40 year bad habit, so I need to keep this going but it's pretty overwhelming at times.

Okay, first off for the regular evods and any ProTank coil heads STOP throwing them away!! I am a coiling maniac and love to rebuild heads for folks so send them to me if you don't want to rebuild them. Second, get the coils down to lower ohms like 1.1-1.4 as the flavors really pop in that range. Use cotton or other wicking material other than the ecowool as it really deadens the flavors. Play with the watts on your device (if you can do that) and see what range of watts give the best flavor.

Personally I use my MVP2's a lot with ProTanks with rebuilt coils. I collect coils as so many folks would have just thrown them away. Plus I buy bulk parts to remake for cheaper. I think you have great gear you just need to start rebuilding your coils to dial in the flavor better. :thumb:

Well I've gone through the gamut of equipment. Vamo, mvp2 provari, kayfun....then tried a reo. If I were you, then next thing would be a reo. It will probably be your last. If you are thinking you would want one, wait it out. At least once a week they put mods in the blemished section at a discount. It will change your vaping experience

1. Join CASAA
2. PM me when you do . . . I'm gonna unleash the best EVOD micro-coiling service ever on you . . . edit - nevermind, the best EVOD micro-coil service already hit you up while I was typing.
3. How many T3's you got? Nevermind, send me those used coils. I'll put a micro-coil in them and send them back, it will make them come back to life for you.

But yes agree with Megan as well if start building coils you will notice a difference. I personally tried to rebuild a protank but it was too hard for me. My eyesight for seeing small areas isn't great. Having a bigger deck to work with for me made all the difference in the world

This is very true and if you bought a mini it would be very discreet to have at work etc...They look HEUGE but they really aren't, even the grands are so much smaller that I expected...

Also, we are not in any way compensated for such endorsements...

I agree, just learning to rebuild the evods (or taking Megan up on her offer) will make a big difference in the taste. It's truly not as hard as it may seem. If you're interested, I'll go find a post of BrookJ's he has this handy tip that I've never seen anywhere else for getting the grommet thingy and pin back in neatly.

If you're up for wrapping coils, maybe try a dripper? It really does make a huge difference in the taste, and it's easier than rebuilding the teeny tiny evod coils. Probably not for work, but nice to have at home.

You are in good hands MC. As was mentioned, nothing wrong with your equipment. The VV v3 is a fine unit in itself. This was the first unit I stepped up to after the twists. VV and VW with a host of other features as well. I still pop mine in my pocket from time to time when running quick errands or when I need to go stealth.

Since you have been researching, what other things have you discovered that are a definite "No"? How do you feel about a larger mod (the tube that holds the battery), and how much larger are you comfortable with at home, and also at work? I use different ones for where I am, with some that are certainly for home use.
Since you use the twists and Innokin vv's, do you change the volts very often? If so, how often and what is the range you switch between? If not, please specify what volts they stay on.
I ask these questions because what mod (called a battery when applied towards your twists and vv's) you are comfortable with will make a difference on what tank is recommended.
Also, what is your budget? Is $100 too much?

I haven't found anything to be a definite no, open to all suggestions. Any size is OK at home but I'm just not home too much except weekends. At work, an MVP2 or Reo Mini would be as large as I'd probably go.

I have switched up the volts and watts on the vv v3's but seem to stay at 1.9 ohms with these tanks. Don't misunderstand, I don't really speak ohms language. :) I stay generally in the 3.7 range and 7.5 - 8.0 for power.

I don't really have a budget but had been looking in the MVP2 and Reo Mini range. Not sure what to do about tanks.

Megan - I promise to never throw another coil away. The few I've tossed ...... me off. LOL. I may very well take you up on your offer or at least get your advice for learning how to do it.

Flavored - all joined up on CASAA.

If you go with the Reo mini, you won't need to worry about tanks. There are some smart Reonauts here that can advise you in that direction.

I can help you with more advanced VV/VW devices and with mechanical mods. Don't let the term "Mech Mod" scare you. They are actually very simple to use and maintain. They take a larger battery that you remove, charge in a charger, and replace. That battery will last 2 to 3 as long as your twists and because they are larger around, you have more options for tanks.

For flavor, your best options for portability are either a Reo, Dibi, Kayfun, or Taifun. There are others, but these are reasonable, portable (won't leak when set up correctly), and give good flavor.

This is the video that got me building coils. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5tRX_3Erc7g There are others, but this is the one that spoke to me.

That's so strange! I watched that one last night and it was what made me realize I could probably build coils. Great minds.

Guess I'm a little confused on the Reo mini and no tanks. I should add that wicking stuff kind of creeps me out a bit, like cartomizers filled with wicking material, tanks with wicks floating etc.

King girl - thanks for your take between the MVP and VV V3. I wondered about that myself. And Penguiness - great advice and thanks for keeping it simple for me. :)
