To Thin????

Ok I tried DIY liquid nic free and it worked for a little while then I think it started really flooding my atomizers, to get anything I would have to blow them out then they would vape good for 2 or 3 times then I would have to blow them out again...

What I did was"

2 parts PG
1 Part VG
1 part flavor

I think I am flooding... this is not good I went off cigs for a week, then nic for 3 days then I had this flooding (?) problem, and now I'm doing analogs again, oh and I think I destroyed two atomizers so I only have one left and at lest 3 weeks before I can order more... and I also think I managed to break my passtrough it lights up but doesn't heat the atomizer... I'm beginning to think this is going to be way more expensive then analogs...

Do you have any other juice to compare it with to check if it is too thin?

The 801's have one of the larger capacity cartridges. I think that was what you have 801s? You might try dripping just a couple of drops at a time on the atomizer and vape it until it is gone instead of using the cartridges. Also don't pool the liquid in your cartridges. Use a small syringe to remove some if you get too much in a cart.

It could be the flavors you are using. If they are Lorann's, some don't get along well with atomizers. Search the forum for the list of questionable flavors.

The ones you think are dead - Try soaking the atomizer in alcohol overnight, drain them, blow them out and dry it out really good. LOW HEAT! 140 degrees or less should be safe.

After it is good and dry, prime with juice or VG until the wick stops wicking. Don't over do it. Then give it 10 or 15 minutes of cycling heating it up with the battery. Blow on the end or something to activate the battery. I've used a small mirror to see if the atomizer was heating up.

blueeyekelly--the viscosity of the mix should bead when you drop it on your hand and stay like when a car is just waxed--too thin will run, burn to hot and fast, and flood the atomizer and also get into the battery,

Try a mix of

4 ml PG/VG (50-50)
1 ml flavor
.5 ml distilled water

It should not run-------Sun

Thanks Ramblin, I'll go put those on to soak now... Yes I do have an 801, what I started to do (because I had them...lol) is I was mixing in sample containers that hold 1/12 of an once and with just a few pipettes I did not fill like cleaning too often, I would just pull the stuffing out a little and dip it in the liquid and give it a tiny squeeze so I did not have a puddle at the top of the cart... I would so like to figure this out, I had no problem not smoking analogs when I didn't have to mess with it to get vapor....lol...

Thanks again hopefully one of the atomizers I have soaking will work again (one is dead the other is... well it does heat up but... nothing doesn't seam to vape and really hard draw...)

Thanks Sun, having an idea of the viscosity should help, just winging it only works sometimes I have plenty of VG and PG so I can mess with ratios all day, I'm just scared my atomizer is going to die on me then... well whats the point of that...lol... About the water though, I'm leery of putting water in anything that is not preserved, have you had any mix with water in it sitting around for a while? does it start to grow? I know weird question but I make stuff that when it has water in it it has to be preserved or else it starts to grow... or does the PG kind of work in that compacity???

I will try that to see if it is better and I don't have to keep blowing the darn thing out...,

Right now I am trying just 50/50 pg/vg to see if it... well what ever, seams a little thicker then just the comercial juice I have...
