There is a place on the forum just for evic owners. eVic Never tried the Evic, but it seems to have a loyal following and I'll bet their are people who can answer just about any question you may have at the above link.

Not sure about post count though, as in how many it takes to post in that forum, good luck and you'll like VV/VW.

If you don't want something that looks like a giant pleasure toy I bought my GF last valentines then you might be interested in checking out something like the innokin itaste VV express.

Generally VV devices all work the same, the better devices will have a larger voltage range and smaller increment increases of 0.1

If your gona start re wick and coiling yourself on a regular basis then it might be work splashing out for something with and ohms checker. But otherwise you don't need to spend lots of money for a good quality vv device.

Once you get a VV device you will realise despite the ability for a little extra tweaking, The most important thing for vapour and flavour is what you are using on top of the battery and the atty your using

oh how I love my vamo. VV is awesome! For me, I still rock around 3.7 v most of the time for a couple of reasons. 1)when I vape over say 4.5 volts I get a sore throat because I think the vape is a little too hot and also causes my lungs to hurt because I have absolutely no restraint and vape constantly. 2) I like a lot fruity vapes and typically they don't do well at high voltage. Barring these 2 issues that I have I love vaping hard, strong and having reckless throat hits which are all possible with a VV and would vape like that all the time if I could. Now the question is do you need a VV? Short answer is no. There are plenty of other units out there that will give you a stellar vape experience but a VV is nice to low to 0 nic. It took me a long time to finally get around to taking them out for a spin and honestly I am so glad I did. I love the vamo because its reliable and honestly, it dirt cheap. A kit runs around $75 but if you already have batteries and a charger you can pick one up (Tube only) for as low as $35. Thats a price you just can't beat for a solid VV mod. I love that I can crank it out or vape it like I do my silver bullet (no kick.)
