This should help our efforts to convince the FDA to promulgate reasonable and responsible regulations for e-cigarette products as a new category of tobacco products in accordance with the FSPTCA.

I now think that other tobacco companies will also begin to market e-cigarettes, and probably before the FDA proposes regulating e-cigarettes as tobacco products.

This article was posted as a reply on another thread, but I think the article and the issue deserve its own thread.

Are you sure there is a legitimate link between that press release and Kretek? The footer on the cig2o site is boasting "marbro" and "camelz" flavors. Hard to believe an actual tobacco company (no matter how small) would do such a thing.

I used to smoke Kretek cloves sometimes. I think they are fairly small in the tobacco world next to the better known companies.

Yes it is true that Kretek is selling our Cig2o brand, and no, there is only Tobacco and Menthol sold through them

Being that the FDA BANNED Kretek "Cigarettes" and now they can only sell Kretek "Cigars", I am not sure how that will pan out. I believe the Kretek cigars are a different mix, one that I do not care for as much. It appears to be an overpriced KR8 kit. If they had "true" kretek flavored cartos, I might buy some. But otherwise, Kretek INT is separating themselves so much from their e-cig company, I don't see how it will help. Hopefully it won't hurt.

If they start showing up in convenience stores, it could move BT to make a move although I feel they are sitting back waiting on the lawsuit. You have to know they have products in the wings waiting to launch.

It sounds like you say they only have tobacco and menthol flavors. Those look like the two kinds of kits, but on the carto page there are other flavors like chocolate, grape, etc.

Skinny, if you look at what they're selling, they have a number of different flavors.

I'm "guessing" so, based on the fact that the PCC they are selling is a KR8 PCC. I have never seen one like that for other models.

Glad to hear you like the KR's, I have a lot of mods myself, but still love the KR base e-cig for around town use.
We use a check valve system which seems to be more robust, and less sensitive to outside influences.
