Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone can provide insight into what the tobacco element of TFA RY4 Double is. The sweetness is brought about by the vanilla and caramel, but there is this chemically taste and smell which I assume is the tobacco element. It doesn't really taste or smell like tobacco to me, kind of like "dried leaves". It has a chemically/solvent/acetone smell to it.

Anyone know what brings about this flavor, or know of any other flavorings that can provide this flavor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

RY4 Double is Vanilla, EM and Cyclotene (sweet, maple, bready, caramellic with nutty nuances) Perfumer's Apprentice

Thanks for that link, it is very helpful. I have a question if you don't mind. So according to the link, is RY4 Double solely comprised of those components: ethyl maltol, cyclotene, propylene glycol, vanillin, and water? Or are these additives to enhance the base flavor?

Maltol is the sweet taste/cyclotene is an additive like AP (acetyl pyrazine) that adds a bread, nut taste to flavors/ PG is basically for the TH in flavors/vanillin is mix from powder form(I think) with either PG and or VG. And is a strong vanilla taste.

Thank you, I guess the flavor I'm after must be from the Cyclotene then. I was wondering if these flavors were additives, but it seems like RY4 Double really is just a combination of these 4 components.

That's not necessarily the whole picture. Note the disclaimer HERE: "Please know that the information provided is NOT the manufacturer's formula, it is information derived from GC/MS. (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry )"
