Tobacco Flavorings Question

I am interested in making my own juices and reading whatever I can before taking the plunge and buying flavorings, equipment, etc.

My question is about tobacco flavorings. What I do not want (which most tobacco juices I've tried has) is that ashtray or Dekang taste. I want to make something in the vein of BWB Bacco. Anyone know which flavors I should be looking at?

I have had good luck with Flavourart's Tobaccos. Perique is great but strong, as is Cuban. Maxboro is milder to me an a bit sweeter IMO. In fact, all FA Tobaccos were fine to me. Huge varieties in flavor from one to the other. Never had what I would call an ashtray flavor. It is unclear if you dislike The Dekang Tobacco flavor specifically or all the Dekang liquids in general. I personally like the DK Tobacco or DK-TAB. I use TPA's DK Tobacco flavoring in my DIY frequently. YMMV of course.

Never used BWB's liquids so can't compare. I've heard they make good Tobacco e-liquids though. Maybe others can help.

BWB tobacco flavors are great.The best Ive tried so far is Johnson Creek.They are expensive but damn good.BWB Casablanca is really good mixed with some blackberry waffle.

Ahhh! Ok, now I know the flavor you are talking about. I have used Mad Vapes' Top Vapor DK USA and the DK Tobacco (DK TAB) China Liquid. Oddly enough, they are some of my store-bought favorites so quite familiar with what you DON'T want. lol. Then my original comment stands. Flavourart's Perique, Cuban and Maxboro are completely not like the DK USA type flavor in my opinion. They are awesome in their own way. Also, you can buy Tobacco Absolute (TA) and mix it with other flavors to come up with your own unique liquid. Just be aware that TA is extremely strong and a small drop is enough for about 10mL of liquid. Start with a tiny amount and work up till you reach a level that satisfies you. Also, DIY tobaccos really need to be steeped for at least a couple of days before you can accurately tell what its really gonna taste like. Some experience doing this and you will know up front that your mix is going to be good. Write everything down as you add flavoring as I am certain you will hit upon some fantastic flavors that you will want to duplicate later on.
