Hey folks, got my first few bottles of tobacco flavoured juice today and I was wondering... is it normal they taste like an old cigarette you found laying around on the floor of your car for a few months and decided to smoke it anyway? I'm not getting any of the other flavouring in it (like the maple). Do they benefit/mellow out from steeping?

If they don't and someone wants to trade some tobacco flavoured juice for non-tobacco juice, let me know. :)

It's impossible to find a juice that actually replicates the tobacco experience. Even more impossible to replicate your brand. Sorry to burst your bubble.

You just need to keep looking for that juice that hits the right notes for you. I go for things like Applewood Tobacco, Honey Flue Tobacco, Cherry Tobacco.. etc. Never a straight tobacco. I find they all taste musty at best, like a sweaty sock.

I have found Backwoods Brew to be one of the best vendors for these types of juices. They have a good selection of straight tobacco flavors as well, but I don't really like any of them except their Backo, which is the base they use for almost all their juice.

Steeping never made a big difference for me. If anything, they just get more musty. The maple tobacco you've ordered may just not have enough flavoring in it. You may want to try a RY4 or a 555.

Well here's the thing folks, theres never going to be an exact match because there is no combustion happening. I am at 101 exclusive days and I can comfortably say that I'm a tobacco flavor guy. With that said, you can get hundreds of diff tob blends and everyone is going to be all over the spectrum of liking one vs hating one. I have tried prob at least 15 diff tob flavs and I have 2 or 3 that I keep going back to.
Steeping is critical. It makes an amazing difference. Also the quality of the vendor makes a huge diff. I have got juice and tried it right away and a month later it is a totally diff juice.
Hey look at it this way, at least you will never actually pick up a half gone death stick that has been laying around for a month and light it up!!!
Seriously, do you guys have access to US vendors?

I don't have too much experience with tobacco juice flavours, but one I really enjoy (enough to consider as an ADV) is FC's take on RY4. Kind of a caramelly, nutty flavour, with a nice dry tobacco undertone that reminds me a lot of how Drum shag tobacco smelled in the pouch. Yeah, I rolled my own for a while. I'm glad my lungs didn't just outright tear their way out of my chest in revolt.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Yeah I've read extensively on tobacco flavoured juices and how they'll never taste like the real thing - and I'm OK with that. What I didn't expect was such a odd flavour from it. And I will say the vendor I got the juice from has been more than amazing, so this really surprised me. Oh well, I guess I'm not a tobacco flavoured kinda guy.

Of course I understand that I am never exactly going to replicate the smoking experience. I also understand that I'm never going to find anything that matches my brand either. With that being said, I'm looking for the closest possible approximation to the brand flavour and that should be doable. It won't be the same, but it might be similar.

I look at the whole process as something akin to using diet drinks or light cream cheese or 1% milk, or whatever. It's never the same as the real thing, but you adapt to find the flavours that best suit you and in time they become the real thing to you, or even superior to the real thing.

Oh, and I have ordered stuff from BWB already, so we'll see how it compares when it gets here Shipped 3 days ago, so here's hoping it arrives soon.

I gave up on tobacco flavored juices a while back. I find most of them just taste like absolute ..... However, I've never tried RY4 and I've heard good things about it. I'll probably give it a go soon. If it tastes like the rest of them I'll be done with tobacco flavors for good. Lately all I vape is fruit flavored juices ..... love it!

I've only tried 4 tobacco flavours and two were RY4 from different vendors. They both tasted a bit different and nothing like Canadian tobacco. One has a very distinct vanilla taste and the other is slightly woodsy. Both have grown on me after a couple of tanks.
I think its a lot like when you are on vacation somewhere and you can't find your brand. If you switch to a local brand of cigarettes, the first half pack tastes weird but after a couple packs, they taste... Okay...

Have u tried mlv Canadian tob . Its honestly the one and only juice that works for me all day everyday

Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2

I've been to mlv's site, but never ordered anything. They have a billion flavours and not many people talking about them, so I was weary of ordering. Are they any good?

Well it's a tall order. You're likely just going to find one that you like the best, and not one that reminds you at all of your favourite brand. Just saying.

I've never ever tried a tobacco juice and been like "Hey, this tastes like Export A Gold."

The only tobacco flavour I like is Red from GreenSmoke. It tastes exactly like an american red cig IMO. Only problem is they only sell pre-filled cartos and they only fit their batteries. They have won lots of reviews for the best tasting ecig.

O find most tobacco flavours I have tries are too basic; the vendors need to spend time making more complex recipes.

If I could find someone else who can make a complex flavour le-liquid ike that I would defo buy it.
