Tobeco Kayfun V4 Clone Leaking From Airholes!!!!!!

Okay I am posting this here because I cant post anywhere else on this forum yet..... I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem. I have a kayfun V4 clone by Tobeco. I can not figure out what i am doing wrong or why it is leaking. It is only leaking from the air holes when i have my device in any position except straight up So if i set it on its side it starts leaking out of the air holes!!!!!!! 8-o8-o8-o8-o8-o If anyone has any info on this i would really appreciate it!!!!!!

You really need to get your posts up and visit the rebildable section. There could be many reasons, most obvious would be improper wicking. (wick not reaching the deck, or to little)

Yup, experiment with wicking. I just bought a kayfun4, but haven't used it yet. I use a few orchids, and a billow. Too little wick allows the juice to flow into the air channels, too much can clog the juice channels and cause dry hits. A properly wicked tank should be able to sit on it's side for a few minutes without leaking from my experience.

The wick needs to be a bit longer in the kf4 to reach the deck than other attys, So if you are wicking with the chimney in place and tucking the rabbit ears in, its easy to come up short.

If it's leaking sitting on its side, I would agree that incorrect wicking is probably the main culprit.

You could also check that all your O rings are in the correct positions and that every thing is snugged down properly.

Yes i tried a longer wick and then a shorter wick with same results.... im sure its just me. how thick do you guys make the wick i am new to the rta's. I am using Rayon But it vapes great lol....

In my Tobecco kf4 I have a 1 ohm 26g on a 7/64 id. I wick it with rayon as per the rayon thread in the rebuildable section without the funky arrowhead trimming.

Leaking liquid from the air holes simply means that it isn't holding a vacuum. So check your o-rings.

So i just made the wicking longer and checked all the o rings and everything looks ok now......but time will tell. thanks for the help everyone!!!!!!!

My KF4 clone was leaking the other day. I took the base off and noticed the juice control was not completely opened. I tightened it up so it was fully opened and it stopped leaking. Haven't looked into it any further so I couldn't explain why. Something to check out anyways.

Mine still does sometimes but not as bad i just keep my mod standing up lol then i have no problems and when i close the juice control to fill it then open it again it leaks a little also

Check O-rings #16 & #18 and replace them with 1.6mm thick ones. Additionally ensure the screw #9 sits correctly and is tight

does anyone know the size of the o-rings #16 and #18? i changed the #16 with one replacement that came with the atomizer and it reduced the leak, i want to buy the 1.6mm to see if it makes it stop
