RDA Tobeco tugboat v2 setup help.

I just received my Tobeco clone and not sure how to set it up with the wire it came with. I do have some angel hair cotton that I could use instead of the silica wicks it came with, is that ok to use? Anyone know what size the wire is that comes with these? Likely 34 ga or smaller, I couldn't find anyone who supplied that information.

I'll order some thicker ga wire later but would like to try this out now, what would be the recommendation? Single or dual and how many wraps with the wire it came with?

You can go to wags and grab some organic cotton. I don't know what angel hair is other than a pasta. Take the wire and wrap 8 or 9 wraps around a mandral and mount the single coil. Make sure the leads make good contact and don't overturn your screws....just snug them up real good. If the wire is that thin you may go with 6 to 8 wraps and be very safe. If you overtighten your screws you will snap roght through that wire. Wick it up and see how she vapes. Get some 28g A1 kanthal and work with that for future coils. Let us know what happens. What mod do you have.

Thanks for your reply, I ended up searching online and found a method of twisting 3 pieces of 32 ga wire into one and used that.

I really like the hits on this thing though, compared to the kanger t3's I use, lol. I've been going through more juice too!

I also ordered some Japanese cotton but I'm using this one for now with good success.

I find that single coil works best on the tugboat v2....im using a .5 ohm build on mine and love it
