I think when we are having a "bad day" we particularly notice the lack of the chemicals and antidepressants we used to get in tobacco smoke. Lots of really good advice already given - I particularly second the suggestion about exercise (go really vigorous til you're sweating if you can as you will trigger a better endorphin release which will give you an immediate lift - also I find earplugs with some upbeat music are helpful).

Don't know whether something equivalent is available in your area but I have been using the Nicorette Quickmist occasionally as the delivery is faster and stronger and thus I find it simulates a cigarette's nicotine rush more than the slower delivery of vaping does (don't overdo as that stuff has to be a billion proof to get that effect!)

Good luck - hang in there and remember tomorrow is another day!

If you wantnto be 100% off the analogs, don't follow what I did.

I started out smoking analogs on/off, which I did for nearly a month along with the vaping.

Now I don't crave analogs AT ALL. I think it's because I've used the two alongside, and it must have convinced my brain, that I get the same from vaping that I got from analogs, only with much better taste. .... Maybe because they're very comparable doing so, and actually lighting up every once in a while when craving made me find out that I didn't really like it compared to vaping.

If you have like 30-40 bucks you could spare, you can run to a gas station that sells Njoy Kings and get like 4-5, and get the red's one, which is 45mg. VERY similar to a cigarette, it might help a lot with the cravings for a real cig! They're too expensive to vape exclusively, but it might REALLY help to take a few drags off it every few hours if you're having trouble. I would strongly suggest even getting 1 or 2 at the least to try out if you have some spare cash at the moment to do so. Warning they don't last long. If you chain vape it, it will be dead in just a few hours but if you only take 5-7 drags every few hours in between your eGo hits it may help A LOT!

They're like 8 bucks a piece, but there is NOTHING else out there that is nearly as close to the feeling of smoking a regular cig, they're even light and the "filter" is squishy. They feel remarkably like a cig, you will be shocked if you've never tried one before. Again, not a long term solution, but they may help big time right now while you transition.

I was in the same place at about the same time. I did much of what's been suggested (higher nic, etc.)

One thing I did notice, is because I was vaping, I wasn't getting a break from work like I did smoking. I work where I can vape at my desk.

So I started take 'vape breaks' going out with the smokers, etc. That, plus making sure I've got a few higher nic juices around, made a huge difference.

I'm about 3.5 months in and feel great. You'll make it, I'm sure of it.

Make sure you are getting good water intake, rest, and exercise. I am putting emphasis on water (not tea, not soda, not coffee) & exercise. Get outside and get in a strong, hard, fast walk to get your blood flowing and some fresh air or bike ride. Hop on a tread mill if you have to, but get blood pumping.
Ah, you beat me to it! And it looks like it worked! Always does for me as well.

Three weeks was the threshold time for me. I was at my worst in cravings but I made it through and haven't looked back since. What I am trying to say is, stick it out, chain vape if need be, it will only get BETTER after this point. I know it is easy to say but if I could do it after 35 years, I have confidence you can.

I didn't read all the posts so ignore if already posted.

Go ahead and light up a cigarette and then continue vaping. It won't kill you nor will it reflect on your character if you do. It's tobacco harm reduction. I guarantee you that the day will come when you light one up and gag and swear you will never touch one again.

This is not about beating yourself up because you do, on the contrary, it's the easiest method to quit/cut down smoking I've ever experienced.
