Hey guys,
Thank you very much for helping me get off the analogs for good. I've been reading this forum for little over a month and today I'm 1 month off analogs. I don't normally participate in forums and such but I finally decided to sign up to learn more and to share what I learned in the past month.

Mahalo!

Thanks and good luck to you all. I smoked for over 20yrs and now I can't even stand the smell of a real cigarette. I tried them all too, patch, gum, several unsuccessful attemps at quiting... nothing ever worked. I'm spending way too much buying spare parts and liquids but I'm sure I'll catch up to it real soon.

Weird thing is I used to smoke marlboros and now I find I like the sweet flavors like ry4, apple, coffee, french pipe, and my current favorite menthol!

Big slap on the back to ya, I tried everything but never just walked away from cigarettes before. I am surprised it has been so easy so far, someone should get a Nobel for this. If not for the folks on this forum it would have been a struggle to adapt to such a different smoking style so quickly. Let's hope the government doesn't realize how much money they are losing in taxes every week from all of us.

Congratulations!

I have been smoking for 40 years (since age 13). True, there were periods in which I 'quit' (the longest 6 months), but otherwise steady smoking a pack a day (or, at times, more).

Last November 2008 I watched my brother-in-law die of lung cancer (he had smoked for decades; quit for 13 years, then started up for six months before he died (age 57); he died within a week of diagnosis).

Needless to say, I have been trying to quit. I started the electronic cigarettes two weeks ago and have been amazed at the results. Yes, I still smoke real cigarettes once or twice a day (mainly with coffee), but that is a far cry from one pack per day (at $6.00 per pop). I feel confident that I will soon not feel the need for a 'real' cigarette, especially as I learn more about e-smokes and about juicing, etc.

Way ta' go!
Smoker for close to 40 years here (over 2 packs a day).
Have quit a million times...once for thirteen months!
But have never felt so at ease without an analog.
Once in a while I'll still think about a cigarette and when I do I just take a deep breath...
and vape up one of my many favorite nico-juices.
Like you I also seem to like sweet juices?
(Marlboro Red smoker most of my life)
Now I really like the Eastmall flavors
(Red Bull,Pineapple,Cola,French pipe)
I wonder why that is?
any way hang in there and keep yourself as well stocked up as possible.

I continued to smoke analogs as I vaped for the first couple of weeks after I started vaping as well.
(although I cut down from close to 3 packs a day, to half a pack)
Then all of a sudden I just realized that I wasn't craving a smoke anymore so I just quit buying them.
It was a scary thought to leave for work with NO ciggs haha, but so far so good.So as I said When YOU're ready ,you'll know!
Good luck!:)
