Since I finally got some organic cotton balls to use with my kayfun, I tried an experiment last night and did a new coil and wick for one of my T3S tanks (a kanger bcc)... With that organic cotton and a well-compressed 2.3 Ω coil, the taste was unbelievably good. Not as intense as the kayfun, but just as tasty. It's good to know, so I can have a reasonably good and effective alternate to use when I'm actually working on the kayfun. :thumb:

Have you tried womens panties ?
Not having tried either one, the only recommendation I could make regarding the use of toilet paper or women's panties for wick material is to make sure they are UNUSED before you begin.

Then again, you never know when a wonderful flavor discovery might be just an accident or two away.

IMO toilet paper or paper towel would wick just fine. The biggest issue for me is I suspect there are some pretty nasty chemicals in both. I would smoke a few before trying this.

If that doesn't bother you, the fibers in both are too short. I think both materials would be blown apart by the forces seen in a wick. Think of the snap, crackle and pop we get from a new wick.

"Choosing the right bath tissue is tough. So is Charmin Ultra Strong. Now 4X stronger than the leading bargain brand when wet, it delivers a better clean for the whole family so can use up to 4X less.* And it’s clog-free or it’s free,** so all in all, it’s a lot less worry and a lot more enjoyment."

Copied from the Charmin web site. ;-)

Someone mentioned a sponge, someone else said that most of them are synthetic (so they would just melt, ew) - but what about a real organic sponge, like from the sea? I seriously think TP would just catch fire after one toot. It might be entertaining to watch, though... Oh and kids? Don't try this at home.

The alternative wick fantasies are hilarious and fun until someone puts an eye out.
