It helps his swag and helps his drip. Thank goodness I'll likely be dead in the next 25 years before his generation comes to real power.

He should probably have that.drip.thing checked by a doc.
A REAL.doc.
This video has been bugging the heck out me, and I'm having a seriously difficult time reconciling in my mind that this was supposed to be some type of satire. I'd love to think that it was that, and just a horrific failure, but I can't mentally connect dots to get myself there.
For those of you who have come to that conclusion, help me understand why you feel that way please. Maybe it will help me shift my mindset.
This is a very genuine and sincere question (and I realize that's not my specialty here on ECF). I mean it - this vid is really bothering me. I feel like 10 years of work (by the industry) has been reduced to a rubble of joke by one idiot in a four minute segment, hosted by someone who should have done more pre-work than was obviously done.
If someone posted this already, I apologize. I'm writing her too (not that it will matter).
Welcome to Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, Board Certified Medical Doctor
She already has been described as the next "Dr Sanjay Gupta,"...
Marvelous. Just what the world needs.
"We actually have a millennial vaping fanatic with a doctor warning against it. Find out what’s going on next."
--Lara Ingraham
I don't know how to post videos from IG but the quote is from the 4th video in the page that I linked (on the previous page).
She does not say it is parody. Seems to me that he was used as a straw horse.
That's just a degree. Besides, her FB page doesn't even call her that. She lists herself as "public figure".
Yeah, I saw all that. I had actually seen the video, and all the follow ups, before I knew there was reference on ECF. I fired it off to Kat, and we popped on later to share - that's when we saw activity. I was already activated by then, and seriously amped up over it.
I just don't see any indication that it wasn't intended to be serious. They saw his vape tricks vid, and decided he'd be a great patsy to destroy (IMO). I also think she (doc) did a lot of last minute "research" based on her choice of "concerns" to present.
The segment was totally irresponsible on the part of LI's show. Somewhere in his (over-posted and self-indulgent) comments, he makes reference to hearing someone say, "Didn't we research this guy before having him on?" (< paraphrased). That tells me that it was supposed to be serious.
What a clown (smh).
I agree. I don't buy the "Didn't we research this guy". They emailed him in response to his parody video. They knew what they were getting.
Same can be said for the so called doctor. The reporter could barely contain her laughter as well. We have many slightly obnoxious youngish vapers here but none of them come close to the fool in the clip. I cannot fathom that even the most gullible would take the "Dr." seriously.Yeah. They wanted a clown (representing vapers), and he wasn't difficult to find. If they wanted a positive representation, it would have been very easy to find one of the many...
I wonder why vooping didn't make the list...

Never underestimate the gullible.
Look at it this way. As bad as it may seem, at least Dr. Neishiwat wasn't treating actual sick people while she was prepping (hair and makeup, not research because she didn't bother with something as unimportant as that) and taping for that segment, probably means lives were saved.

Check this out. What really happened
That was the first article I read. My initial thought was that the show got duped, and pretty much everything I've seen appears to confirm that. It could be my preconceived notions there - I admit that, but I'd need some very clear evidence to change my mind.
The saddest part is that he used vaping as a stepstool towards his 15 minutes... (which is about how long I expect him to last on high).
