I recently got my friend's mom interested in E cigs. She has been cigarette free for about a week. Unfortunately yesterday she found out she has stage 4 lung cancer in both lungs (also spread to any part of the body you can think of) The doctors are giving her around 6-8 months.
She smoked for 30 years and never thought it could happen to her. If you have anyone in your life that still smokes do what you can to talk them about the possibility of cancer. Whether they stop smoking cold turkey, with patches, gum, e cigs, whatever. I just can't stand to see the nicest woman I know in pain because of this poison that even I have used in the past.
I know that everyone knows cigarettes cause cancer, just sometimes it hits closer to home.
