Yep, YouTube was a HUGE help in seeing the differences in styles, sizes, etc.

My only concern is when my order confirmation came up it showed the UK. Not sure if this is normal or if I didn't remember to cling the USA flag *bangs head). I immediately e-mailed customer service but still no reply. Fingers crossed if I did screw uop and order from the UK side they can convert it to the USA site!

LOL, I did the same thing. I wrote, they wrote back saying all is good. So not to worry.

I am a big fan of the KR808D1. I like the 2 piece design. I do not want to spend my days searching for juice or mixing juice. I want to screw on a cartomizer, vape it, throw it away and put a new one on.

Just starting out this is a flurry of new things and new words and research. We didn't do all this research before we started smoking (or we would never have started!) Keep it simple!

It's true, I wish it was that simple. Part of the reward for switching to vaping for me was the idea that it would save me a bunch of money. It only really saves money if you at least refill your carts/cartos with juice - and saves a TON if you DIY your juice.

True. When I started it was as easy as stealing Dad's unfiltered Camels (WHAT was I thinking, oh yeah, I was young and wasn't!) And Mom's Benson and Hedges Menthol's. Not to mention the gas station near the High School that had no issue in selling to minors.

But I have to say that coming here, having SO many people willing to patiently explain and encourage me along with watching a couple You Tube videos REALLY helped. Not going to lie, I didn't do more than a couple hours of reading/research and it's not hard to pick up the lingo.

TBH, I wasn't aware of any cost savings when I started researching less than a week ago. I chose this for the reasons outlined in a previous post. Finding out that I can actually not only save money AND be healthier was a bonus. And in our current economic climate, stashing away the money from a previously untapped source is a definite plus!

I just really wanted to say a big thank you again to everyone who was so welcoming and helpful.

I'm at 3 days and 2 hours per the ticker I can't remember how to attach as a signature. Last night while I was sleeping, my kid moved my desk and contents out of the freezing cold garage, set it all up in the spare room and left me a note telling me how proud he was of me.
That is priceless.

Now I'm going to go back to wandering in and out of the forums and learning more. So far, I have learned that juice is some sticky sticky stuff and the tea bag and syringe trick seems to be working way better that the batting in the cart's. My counter looks a bit like a mad scientist lab

Way to go CalChic! What a great kid you have too. Keep up the good work and let us know if you have questions. You might want to try cartomizers in the future. they can be refilled mulitple times and last longer than carts.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to the cartomizers next order. LF was out of stock when I ordered last night so I'll stalk the site until they come in. This can be a heck of a messy situation when one is as clumsy as I am!

As a fellow klutz, so long as you're comfortable with a syringe, try the clearomizers.
XL Clearomizers

They're a carto with see-thru sides so you know when to stop filling. I've tried a bunch of other
cartos and filling methods, they work, great vapor, long lasting, messy for the eye to hand
coordination challenged. :)
