Thanks :) This is so frustrating. I feel like crying! lol

There's one B&M here that is horrible but I get your point. Maybe I have some 12MG's left that I can mix up with 6MGs.

I was gonna say, buy a bottle of 12 and one of 6 and mix them up but the shaky hands thing could either be withdrawls or too much nic...
Best of luck to you and hang in there!

Also the 3's can play a role. As in 3 days and you get the urge for a cig. 3 weeks in the urge hits strong again. 3 months and by gawd, here we go again. I'm looking forward to the 3 year mark.

Keep a higher nic for those times and for the high stress times. It DOES get better. It is certainly not nearly as bad as cold turkey! You will get through this and like others have said, vent here whenever you feel the need to. We are our support system as well as info junkies on ecigs.

Good luck! :)

I've only had panic attacks when I quit tobacco. It surprised me but I've tried life enough both ways to learn this. It may be that you have a panic disorder or chemical imbalance that is masked by nicotine.

Now days one of the first symptoms I get withdrawing from nicotine often times is panic attacks.

Nicotine causes the liver to metabolize caffeine much more quickly. When I went off the patch years ago I had to go decaf only for a while.

Hmmm . . . I agree with the mixing of 6mg and 12mg juices for a 9mg vape . . .

However, my very first thought when I read your post was, "I wonder what her daily caffeine intake is?"

Smoking probably down-regulated caffeine's effects, so that now you may be much more sensitive to it. (The shaking hands part really struck me.)

Hope something works for you! :)

What does your cafffeine intake look like? Some of us become much more sensitive to (the same amount of) caffeine after reducing nicotine.

I went through this just recently!

I'm actually a caffeine free girl as far as coffee and soda's go. Never could handle very much of it. Not saying I turn down chocolate though :) Interesting to know...I'll have to see if there is any connection the next time I feel crazed.

Feeling pretty good now....I have that 10MG vape lccal to me. The feeling comes and goes.

Oh good to hear - but for sure there is more going on with quitting smoking than meets the eye. We tend to focus on how the not-smoking is affecting us. But there are other sneaky things that happen with how some other things we are using to consuming might interact with the smoking - and therefore change, when those burning tobacco chemicals are gone or reduced :)

HI All,

Did some research on this before I posted but I'm not really finding the answer out there. Here goes.....

I am about 2 months into going cold turkey from Virginia Slim Lights and into vaping. The first month was a breeze. I felt great, proud of myself. Sense of taste came back. An all around beautiful thing :)

But now I'm at the 2 month mark and the past 2ish weeks I've been feeling anxious (never had that before in my life), cranky (MEAN!) and a little crazy!:( Thought that would subside and I am doing my best to ride it out...but I feel like it's not going away.

I'm not sure what to do. Is it that I am not getting enough nic? Am I getting too much? Is it not the nic at all but the other chemicals from smoking?

Short of picking cigarettes up (which I do NOT want to do), I'm at a loss for what to do about this. Thought I would look here for thoughts/advice.

ETA: Forgot to mention that my hands shake now too :(

Well, hope you get over this hump, and please don't light one up; otherwise you have to go through this cycle again in 2 months! As for all your symptoms, well, the 4,999 other mystery ingredients you were previously absorbing by way of your Virginia Slims isn't going to purge from your system without some sort of side-effect.

In the meantime, increasing the nic probably wont help if you were breezing by the past month without issue. As you already mentioned, bumping up to 12 made you queezy, so just stick to what was working prior (6mg)

I think in a day or two, you'll feel pretty good again. These types of withdrawals rarely continue on for long term, so just look at this as your last hump to climb over ;)
