Hey forum

Since I've began vaping, I've noticed it is very hard to put my vape down. I use it almost constantly while at my PC, which happens to be the majority of my day as I work and play at my PC...

I came from a pack a day smoking to my vape which is currently a 12-18mg juice. I'll puff constantly every 1-5 minutes sometimes up to 8 hours at a time.

I am wondering if this vaping tendency of mine is harmful to me. I've had none of the side effects from nicotine "overdose" but I do get the odd headache in which case I put it down for an hour or two until it subsides.

On a side note, I dont feel "Addicted" to nic anymore (since vaping) which is odd for me. I mean I do get cravings from time to time to have a nice vape session, but when I am away from my PV or my smaller, e-cig style PV, I don't get the "Smoking cravngs" that I got with analogs. I can go a weekend without vaping and not think twice. Has this happened to anybody here since they started vaping? Like I said, it's odd for me considering how much nic I inhale on a daily basis!

Sorry for the text wall, wanted to get some answers to questions that have been lingering in the back of my mind!

Thanks so much :vapor:

I'm a lot like you and the 18 might be a bit too much for you. I use 12 almost all the time.

As for harmful effects, they have to be weighed against the alternative. If you're willing to put down the PV and not go back to cigarettes, then you'll probably be better off. However, if the choice is between cigarettes and vaping the way you do, the scant info available says vaping is more healthy.

If it's the nic amount you are concerned with you might try 0mg while sitting at the computer. When I first started I vaped the same as you while at the computer, why, because I could. Now that it's been over a year I have found that I could give up the nic but not the hand to mouth habit wich was the (unexpected) hardest part of my smoking addiction to give up.
No one really knows about the PG/VG and flavorings yet but my lungs/heart say it's better than smoking a cigarette.

I vap 24/7 and love it . I was a 2 PAD smoker and I don't see the harm in vaping as much as you want . I started at 24 but went down to 16 to 18mg/ml . I tried 12 for a while but in the end I decided I like it a bit higher . After a while of chain vaping you will adjust to a more normal rate once the novelty of it wears off .

I had a slightly different experience. I was a 2 pack a day smoker, I tried a small ecig thing with 24 mg prefilled carto's, That was was good enough to help me get down to a pack a day + ecig. did that for a month. but i wanted to quit cigarettes completely and that was not doing it for me. Then I found this place, and so i did some reading on here and got into dripping.

That did it for me. 100% i seemed to spend much less time vaping than i did smoking before i quit. but like you when i did have a craving it was not psychopathic nic craving. it was great. now after 3 months i tried to drop to 18 mg and then i was vaping like crazy. didn't like that, too much work, so i went back to 24mg and vaping every hour or so, then after 6 months my body told me "DUDE" This is "WAY" too much nicotine. lol

so I listened, and now i'm at 12 & 18 mg and happy. but i can see me dropping down again soon. as I regain use of my taste buds more and more, I find that nic tastes like crap...... ha ha ha

I also started at 24 prefilled and quit. I went down to 16 and started DIY my own and went down to the 8-12 range. Tried going back to 24 and my body told me way too much. Went back down in a hurry. I love to vape and go through 4-6ml a day so I need to be on a lower dose. I want to go to 0 nic and b done with everything hopefully. But I do love having my binky (pv) with me. I honestly thing the biggest thing with analogs was all the other unknown chemicals they put in to help keep us addicted.
