Too strong compared to cartomizers?

I have just received an EVOD for the very first time. Me and my friend both tried these out, they're VERY strong. We are only vaping at 12mg's. We also did a juice change (MBV) so not sure if it's the juice or the fuller and different clearomizers... but they're making us kind of nauseous and light headed very easily.

It's almost not enjoyable even at 3.7v, because they are THAT strong. We're used to cartomizers, so maybe they just sucked. I remember not feeling ANYTHING other than a few seconds of dizziness if I chain vaped all day.

These you take 3 hits in a few minutes, and we get very ill feeling. I'm confused as to why this is happening.

Nope still vaping at 1.8 and just changed to a different battery from my inferno. it is a VV batt, but it's still at 3.8. Maybe it's giving me more power. I'm noticing it just makes me feel like a cig (which makes me feel sick now) and that's what I wanted to avoid. However I suppose it's great for a smoker looking for that buzzy feeling after a cig, but it's very strong. I am using 50/50 vg/pg, as opposed to 60vg/40pg or 70/30vg pg. would just those slight difference make an impact on feeling ill? I do not have a great tolerance to PG.. could be it.

I find Evods give the harshest draw with PG baccy juices compared to cartos and the ego tanks.

With VG juices, weaker cooler hits.

But yeah my Dekang USA blend 100%PG which I found like vaping air on my ego-c and had to hotbox it - I now only need a 5 second draw on an evod.

I have found

1. Evods give more flavor and a hotter vape with PG juice.

2. Evods give more flavor but a much cooler vape with VG juices.

Sounds like you have new everything - battery, juice, and juice delivery! So it's going to be hard to pin down what it is that's making it so much "stronger". But a VV set to 3.8 may be different than you were getting from an EGO. And the EVOD does draw much "looser" than a cart, so you could be almost sort of hyperventilating!
Keep fiddling, and you may settle into a comfortable setup with a different juice or with a different puff style.
Good luck!
