i'd rather wait 4 hours for my juice than 4 weeks. i too have an ultrasonic cleaner. :D

and one of these... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/510520-coils-made-easy.html

and a couple of these... 20131023_000425.mp4 - YouTube

bottles out the wazoo from specialtybottle

an organizer made from a sheet of kydex

a variety of sizes of music wire

sterilite rolling and stationary drawers

neoprene gloves

everything else mentioned on this thread except the magnifier. i use my third hands for that.

EDIT: of notable mention...

  • doohickey
  • digital calibers
  • noalox
  • grain alcohol
  • rubbing alcohol
  • Q-tips
  • hex driver
  • cap head screws
  • the plunger
  • slap yo mama

DOUBLE EDIT: just ordered mixing magnets. going to add a mixing table for testing nic levels before i bottle up a new nic base for storage. stirring for 20 minutes is a PITA when you're slowly working to 100mg/ml.

How did u learn how to do this stuff. I would like to buy a more advanced vaping device, but it seems way too complicated so I have stuck with my halo triton. All the talk about rebuilding coils and stuff is way over my head, but I want to learn. Where would I start?

This is a pretty simple and typical method for rebuilding many single coil Rebuildable Dripping attys. You do NOT have to use the jig. I wrap on a 16 gauge syringe needle.

I read a slap yo mama is handy. What's the plunger? And a doohickey?

So back in post number 5, I included a pic of a cheap lighted magnifier and said that, "I wouldn't rebuild without it."

Well, today I'm eating my words 'cause I did just that. After work this evening, I showed a couple of guys how to rebuild Evod/Protank heads (using microcoils and cotton of course!), and although I took the magnifier to the office, I managed to do both builds without it. I really thought I'd need that magnifier, but I didn't. I've said before that switching from smoking to vaping has made me feel 10 years younger, but I didn't expect it to improve my eyesight too. :D

doohickey... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/381179-new-improved-doohicky.html

though, i had to make my own. i was late to the party. it's pretty simple, though. it's just a lipo checker with a couple wires and tabs soldered on.

plunger allows me to change flavors mid carto. though, i should have enough tanks at this point it's not an issue. here... The Plunger - MyFreedomSmokes.com

sweet I already have a lipo checker( I fly rc planes) just need to solder different tabs/connector. I definitely should get a plunger until I get my vape gear up to snuff. Looks like I may have alil leg up on the power and soldering department with vaping. I have several lipo tools already. have built my own packs and replace dead cells and whatnot.

DIY: Clear nail polish to add coats to the markings on the syringes to keep them from rubbing off ...

Hey Detra, just a heads up. I tried nail polish on plastic syringes but it flaked off. Clear tape seems a better option -- not permanent but appears to last life of syringe.

a couple tabs soldered onto a spare jst-xh connector/extender should work fine as long as your lipo checker is 1S capable. then it can run double duty.

i'm in the hobby too. still earth bound though. something to do with the kiddos that fills my needs to tinker from time to time.

That's about what I was thinking :) I also have a Watts Up meter that has several measurements too. Could be handy for testing/experimenting .

Is it safe to store ejuice in a syringe? have loooked everywhere and cant find an answer

The plastic syringes are intended for single use. Of course I wash and reuse these multiple times when mixing. However, eventually the rubber swells and the syringe becomes unusable. So probably not the best practice. Glass would be a much better choice. For last ditch home use, I've previously used brown plastic Rx bottles without incident.
