I love Top Vapor fluids - good flavor, they always give me a very enjoyable, clean tasting vaping experience. I've only had a couple that I didn't like - but that was due to flavor preference, not a quality-of-product issue. But anyway, I decided to order some China liquid along with my last order. It's very different.

So I'm just wondering what the difference is? I immediately realized it must be the same stuff the one local smoke shop sells (MV is a MUCH better deal, btw). It's not bad, it's just a little.. harsh. It seems they both have the same harsh tartness to them with the "flavor" being a bit subtle and almost lost in the harsh/tartness. There's definitely something different about it.

I've also noticed the China liquids seem to snap, crackle and sizzle quite a bit more and leave quite a bit more condensate in the mouthpiece. If I vape it constantly (even diluted down), it gives me a little bit of a sore throat.

Also, maybe it's just a generic label, but all of the smoke shop liquids use almost the exact same label too.

Thank you for the reply.

I don't think it's strictly the PG/VG ratio since it doesn't seem to change much when I cut it with 25% VG. The flavor and harshness is muted a bit, of course, but still there. Don't get me wrong, it's not a strong harshness - I can still vape it, it's just not an all-day-vape for me.

I was just curious if there was some major differences that could be the cause, like type of flavorings or some other additive, for example.

I haven't. I use cartos though, and I have to intentionally start fresh cartos about once a week, otherwise they just keep going and going. Specifically with the Spearmint, I've got through a 30ml bottle on one carto. Flavor starts to get muted, but there isn't a burnt flavor or anything that would signal that it was clogged or bad.

I am curious what you mean about a Fortune....if it's less than 5 dollars a day, then it's a much smaller fortune than the death-sticks. (That's assuming that you're not living on a reservation, and paying standard prices (across the US) for analogs. I was paying 6.60/pack, once a day. Also figuring on 50 cents a day for charging, and a dollar worth of liquid. :) )
