I blundered onto e-cigarettes while at the Philadelphia Home Show last Friday. The item intrigued me, so I purchased a started kit of two batteries, two atomizers, a charger that can be used on my laptop, in my car and with an ac plug from a person selling items offered on innovationx's e-cigarette store. After telling a friend of mine he was intrigued as well and did research, finding this site. I have been vaping for a week, no more analogues, and enjoying it immensely! My friend bought his supply from Vapor4Life and right now I am envious because my site doesn't have all the AMAZING options on the V4L site. Thank you all for the advice, posts, input, what have you, it is helping me immensely!

LOL - I understand completely! There are so many choices out there... colors... styles... flavors! Rest assured that you can and probably will change models more than once in your quest to find what is right for you. I have five different models now... and I find that they all fit into my life in different ways.

Read Wonderful World of Vaping when you can. It will answer a lot of questions.

Find some liquid that you like and keep refilling yours. If you decide to try something else, go ahead. In the end each model has its fans.

:)

Welcome NJ,...from NJ! :) Interesting that someone was set up to sell e-cigs at the Home Show! I haven't seen them anywhere - only online. I discovered e-cigs randomly one day - started researching and found my way to this forum. I did about two months of research before I pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I did! I haven't smoked a ciggie since my e-cig arrived 3 weeks ago.

It's a great place to learn anything and everything about vaping, and the people here are awesome!

I'm not familiar with V4L, but I see a lot of people posting here that are.

It's pretty amazing how easy it is to transition from smoking to vaping, isn't it?

I googled "innovationx" and found a website that sells a few different products (like a steam mop and a pooper-scooper kind of thing?) - and this e-cig:

Electronic Cigarette

Is that the one you got? I think I've read other people posting about "e-health" electronic cigarettes...

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it looks like a 2 piece unit - and wow - expensive! :(

If you aren't happy with it, chalk it up to "initiation fees", pat yourself on the back for being able to quit smoking with it - and start doing some research. :)

The starter kit for the 510 I got was $35.00 here:
Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

Great customer service, really fast shipping and they'll answer any questions you have even while your learning and trying to decide what may suit you best.

There are a lot of people that will recommend and prefer other models - it's all a matter of personal preference and what fits your needs.

The 510 was a really good choice for me - it does everything I'd hoped for and more.

It's become a really fun hobby! Now instead of throwing tons of money away on cigarettes I'm *investing* in vaping toys. I'm sitting here right now waiting - knowing Monday is payday, trying to decide what I'm going to buy next.

$8.00 a pack here - almost $10.00 if I'm in the city is disgusting - but you know that, you're in NJ! It feels great to give the proverbial finger to Big Tobacco and state tax :D

Congrats on your decision to give it a try and quit smoking! Keep posting and asking questions. Everyone here is friendly, supportive and really helpful.

Thank you all for the welcomes! There are e-cigarette kiosks in Pennsylvania, at Neshamini Mall and King of Prussia, and in Delaware at the Christiana Mall, that I know of. At the moment I am astounded more people don't know about e-cigarettes and am angry that *I* didn't know! I am starting to think the FDA's position has more to do with money from taxation on analogue cigarettes and the tobacco company lawsuit money that is funneled to state governments! Talk about government run amok!

At any rate, thank you all again. I am thoroughly enjoying my vaping experience and have turned about 10 people onto this.

Happy vaping!!

Heh, if you don't think government is corrupt, you must be listening to only the politicians.

Yeah, when I found out about these PV's I was rather disgusted that I never knew before.

Second the post saying to check out the Wonderful World of Vaping, after I read it, I wish I had done so before I ordered anything. Great info.
