All up in your grill..
He was running out of jokes and wasn't happy with the material he or comedy central's writers were coming up with. He figured it's better to go out the champ then be another tired cliche. Of course it doesn't hurt that he was already filthy rich by then. When we burn a candle at both ends, what a brilliant light we make..

He's back to touring a bit now! He just did a surprise show in Richmond, VA in June. Was offered tickets but had a conflict.
(it was a good conflict, or I would have totally bailed on my plans to see Dave)

Oh, man, I miss Dr. Katz something awful, too. They NEED to bring that back. With new comics on the couch, it'd never get old. Not to just go on and on with Chappelle (even though it's no rules, and whatever goes), but I got to see Charlie Murphy at one of the last comedy shows I went to, so one of everyone's favorites -

Hey, rodjar, it was fun to watch that episode and to hear both Jonathan Katz and Paula Poundstone do the voices. I never watch any of the cartoon stuff out there; wonder if I'm missing out...
Home Movies is one of my favorites for sure. definitely worth checking out the whole series. I think Paula only did the first season or so, I think that may have been when she was going through her stuff.
H. Jon Benjamin (coach mcguirk, jason, and Ben Katz) has two shows right now that I think are totally hilarious. Archer and Bob's Burgers
