A mechanical mod is your best bet. There are durable regulated mods but eh...... as with all electronics they will die eventually. Plus you never know when some freak accidents might happen.... Drops... Water... Or combination: drop into toilet bowl

hey OP, may not be what you're looking for but a mech mod should serve you well; Sure it might not be waterproof or nothing but it will take all the knocks you can give it that's for sure. I use an SMPL when i am out and about topped off with a velocity rda at 0.2Ω. it kicks really hard.

dunno if you can see it, but mine has a ton of scratches on it, still kicks hard and has not failed me yet. I'm gonna get it wrapped with a purple carbon fiber sticker sometime this week to cover it up, it should look (hopefully) much nicer after this.
