I've never had the Dekang RY4, as I've done DIY from the start, and haven't seen any concentrated flavorings by them.

My impression if the RY4 - Double is favorable. It's the best tobacco flavoring that I've had so far, though there are still many flavorings that I have not tried. It has a bit of sweetness, but I add EM or TPA tobacco Blend to further sweeten it, as I like my sweets. I also often add a hint of something else. I think of it as my pipe tobacco base flavoring.

Last week, I was doing peach tobacco, this week, I'm doing cherry tobacco. I think that it goes quite well with a bit of their Bavarian Cream flavoring.

Hey folks, quick question. Is it just me, or does anyone else find TPAs RY4 have a hint of a menthol taste to it?

I know what you mean, but I agree with some of the other posters, I think it's the flowery note when vapes fresh. If you let it steep some of that comes out. I've taken to the double RY4 as its more mellow and refined IMHO, the Asian is good too, I get a fruity top note from it.

I've been using the RY4 double with french vanilla, yellow cake, and caramel for a killer desert vape. I found the normal ry4 is good mixed with dessert ship and perique but NOT with m-type or other more floral tobacco types.
