I'm having trouble with the tfa since it seemed to be a little bit weak at 5% so jumped it to 10% and its like it lost flavor. The tpa Asian ry4 is at 5% which tastes about the right ratio but just curious what other mix it at. Can't get over the maple flavor in the Asian but could be worse.

I haven't been able to get any double ry4 yet, and dekang is sold out for the past few weeks locally. Tried the Tribeca and am not a fan, and just need to get a diy flavor that works for me and is similar to the dekang.

Im sure ry4 thread are quite common I just can't find any info on the flavor art ry4 ratios, lots on the double.

Thanks in advance!

Use the base straight or add other ingredients to it. All flavors are TFA PG based flavors.

4% Asian Ry4 OR English tobacco OR Virginia Firecured OR Marlboro
5% ethyl malto
5% caramel
1% Tobacco Absolute

Sometimes I add a bit of vanilla to the Ry4

Steep for 10 days and then vape straight or add some of these other flavors to it.

3 ml of Asian Ry4 + 2 drops Vanilla Cupcake
3 ml English Tpbacco + 2 drops English Toffee
3 ml Virginia Firecured + 2 drops hazelnut
3 ml Marlboro + 4 drops juicy peach

Ya I think it had more flavor at 5% than 10% but didn't think going upto 10% would kill off the flavor. I'll try another 5% its been a month or so since I tried the 5% so am forgetting how weak it tasted. I just remember thinking it needs more.

Don't know if you've read any of Hoosiers blogs but he mentions that too much flavor can in some cases actually kill off the flavor. Also steeping can intensify the flavor over time. Maybe try 6% and let it sit for a couple weeks?

I read somewhere that the TFA RY4 Asian was great @ 6%

If you like maple Asian ry4 would be good, as for me I dont care for it. Its not terrible just not what I like to vape. I was hoping someone had a higher percent experience that would change the maple flavor, like how cappella CFB tastes more like dark chocolate over 10% but at 5% is more like milk chocolate.

No, but there's a thread that recommends mixing the TFA RY4 Double with TFA RY4 Asian both at 7.5% for a total of 15%. I made some, but my friend came by tried it took it and ran.

That's about what I use. I like it a lot, but it is a very penetrating flavor, kind of a high-frequency caramel. I will make a 5% juice, and then add some drops to a tank that has other flavors, just to give a little light caramel edge.

I tossed a couple of my previous batches together and looks like it works, so next step is to try and figure out a ratio.

I'm thinking 3% TPA ry4 Asian, 5% tfa ry4, 3% Bavarian cream, 3% dulce de leche.

Bavarian cream always seems to need more steeping than anything else for me. Think its about 2 weeks steep time before the off taste of it goes away and that's just for 5ml batches.
