Thanks a lot for the measurements. Could not have asked for more! Now we have something we can use as a "recommendation". m00nshake is going to do the same today. That will give us a good comparison/conformation, at least for those of us in the South(humidity) .
I got mine from WL also but I put mine in a plastic ziplock bag and layed and dishtowel over it and hit with a hammer lightly and crushed the crystals pretty good. I just took a empty 30ml bottle and filled it up half way with the crystals. Then filled it up the rest of the way with Everclear. Dissolved wonderful and made a strong menthol that I like. I also add Koolada to mine. It is from Perfumer's Apprentice. It adds a cool hit without the extra flavor. Love, love, love it. Everyone has their own way. I'm just lazy and don't want to measure or go to a lot of trouble. Guess I'm really a lover. L azy O 'l V aporer that E njoys R elaxing. bahahahahahaha

Cool! But if you submit a recipe please include your mixing method so others can replicate your recipe.
I'm so sorry. I did not realize what thread I was in. So this is not a recipe, it is just how I make my flavorings. I haven't started the measuring thing yet. I hope to one day.... but not today. I will read more careful next time. I will just use the excuse that I am sleep deprived. heehee Night.

I look forward to seeing if your results come out similar, it's been pretty muggy here lately so I'm thinking that may affect my results a little bit, but it shouldn't be affected too much.
Haha, I know right!! I had to think twice about uploading the images even!
I renamed them them all to include "Menthol" in the file name, because even though the image host changes the name on upload I'm sure all the original file info is kept when it gets uploaded. Luckily I thought about how it might look while taking pics, so I made sure to get that first once showing the menthol bottle too.
Although, none of that really helps much, it still looks and could be illicit and you'd never know the difference.

Just mixed up a small batch of this...pretty good (after one night of steeping). Needs to steep yet, but not bad when pretty new. However, I used Cherry instead (I don't have strawberry on hand). The peach isn't coming through as much as I would like, but that might change after some steeping. Thanks for the recipe!
So I got TFA Gingerbread in my first batch of DIY. I tried it at 5% with 1% sweetener in a 6ml batch. Too much nutmeg flavor for me. So I decided to tinker, using the "Drunken Gingerbread Man" recipe as a guideline. I added .3 ml of rum flavor (Durkee brand that I had in my kitchen), and .1 ml of French Vanilla to the bottle. Now it smells like... Apple pie??? Weird. Anyway, freshly vaped the additions toned down the gingerbread dramatically and I swear I almost taste apple. No discernible rum flavor yet, hopefully after a little steep time I'll have a bit of rum come through. If not I'll just add more and see if that works, lol!
So now Rum is on my list of flavors to order, as well as Apple. This DIY thing is going to be bad news- in addition to more flavors, I'll have to buy more hardware, learn about dripping, and rebuild-able atomizers and multimeters, etc, etc... I thought this was supposed to be cheaper than smoking!

Here is it but in a teaspoon. Sorry but I didn't have an exact measuring spoon. I flattened it so it is level with the teaspoon. It is almost exactly half of one teaspoon.

It's amazing with TFA Juicy Peach. I've just mixed up another 30 ml batch of the stuff!
I wanted to say I made a 30 ml batch by eyeing out 1 and 1/2 teaspoons and then made another 30 ml batch weighing 3 mg on the scale and they both taste equally strong. Even if there are small discrepancies, they are unnoticeable.

Thanks! BTW, I ordered the same scale you are showing, but, D.O.A. Damn postage was more than the scale. Guess I'll try Walmart. All things considered, your results are very close to Aurora-Oblivion's. Close enough for me at least.

Most users should go by drops per 5/10ml anyway, until they are familiar with how their current mix affects the juice, then maybe later could go with percentage.

They're almost identical when I taste one drop. If there are any differences, they are unnoticeable to me. Every liquid I mix is some kind of fruit/menthol combo, so what I'll do is mix one 30 ml bottle with the "per gram" menthol, then another with the "by %" bottle, and I'll let you know if one was any weaker than the other. It won't be this week because I have to order some more flavorings, but once I have everything and mix some up, I'll let you know.

I was talking to my mother on the phone when I was crushing the menthol and placing it on the scale, and I told her, "If the police were to bust in here right now, there would definitely be some explaining to do." If that were to have happened, however, it would have made for a lot of laughing at the police station later that day. "And after we tackled the guy to the ground and thought he had some sort of major operation going, it turned out it was only menthol."
I mixed this up last weekend, it still taste good today, vaped most of the day on provari at 4.v w/LR Boge, not to sweet.
