I find that there is too much emphasis over steeping.... I think .....with the exception of a few complex flavors such as Custard and tobaccos that steeping is the last thing Needed. I would say 90% of my juices need no steeping or none after 2 to 3 days.
I too find that many juices can go bad at a months time or more. I dont find that true with most fruits. They have a great shelf life. .... and yes, I experienced what your saying with the Dragons tears.
The Keylime pie recipie in here (not the light) is soo good at first. Let it sit for a month and it gets a bit yucky (to me)
My Butter finger and Almond joy recipies in here are the same way.....with steeping near a month, some flavors come out that are just plain over powering and change the whole aspect of the taste derived the very first day.
After a while, I figured out which are which and mix as needed. I will make up 200 mls of Red Vs Blue and dont care if it sits 3 months in front of a window, but Keylime... I got to know that I will be vaping it that week.
Again, as we all say ..."taste is subjective" and I definately hear what your saying.
Any good Custard recipes out there? I love OMC, Oh My Custard from Toronto Ejuice.
Would be cool to clone that one.
Im curious to know if anyone has any good pineapple flavors.....i currently dont have a lot of TFA flavors and im trying to find something i can make at the moment before i order more flavors. I have pineapple, ripe strawberry, lemonade, juicy peach, mango, rasberry, watermelon, grape, cotton candy.....any good ideas?? Thanks !!
I agree. Here's riptrippers kinda breaking it down on steep times. I tried to let custards sit...
<<snip>>
This is my experience. Like you said it's all subjective.

I call this one SPaM juice all tfa. I'm not at my desk to look up % . I think it's 5% mango and the others at 4%. Shake. Vape. Enjoy.
Strawberry
Peach
Mango
vaping one day at a time
Here's a real simple one, but I love it in the morning:
8% Caramel Candy
5% Honey
Hmmm so about 13% flavoring is what it comes out to?? I am getting such mixed answers about how much flavoring to actually use. That's not to much??

When you say " I think..." it tells me the recipe is not finished. Re post with appropriate %'s.

No Name !
....
Mexican Coffee
10% TFA Sweet Cream
3-5% TFA Dbl. Dk. Chocolate
1-3% TFA Toasted Marshmallow
2% TFA Brown Sugar
.5% Cinnamon
TFA Coffee to taste, I used 4%
Prepared with 12% nic in 60/40 PG/VG.
Coffee did get stronger after steeping overnight so I increased the TFA Toasted Marshmallow & TFA Dbl. Dk. Chocolate by 1% & added 1% TFA Sweetener.
Wasn't sure I was going to like this one so just used the food grade cinnamon oil I had on hand, the type we used to make cinnamon toothpicks & WOW it's a keeper! Guess I'll be ordering the hottest cinnamon TFA has!
I know I vape TFA coffee flavors a lot stronger than most that's why I stated, "to taste", in both recipes then the amount I used. Would really hate for someone who only uses a drop per 10 ml to use my % and get blown away! However these are some of the coffee recipes I vape all day as coffees are my favorites and their the first recipes I've felt were good enough to post, hope you like them!
