I am sure glad I was reading this cause I really hadn't given it much thought and it easily could cause some serious damage.From what I have found (and I'm sure Iken will correct me if I am wrong) there are 3.7 volt rcr123a and 3.0 rcr123a volt batteries. This charger will handle the 3.7's.

Good to know and Thank you for the clarification.Problem is if it does charge them it will overcharge them to lipo voltage of 4.2v, instead of A123 voltage of 3.7v, or rcrA123 voltage of 3v. This would likely shorten their life if repeated over and over. It should not cause an explosion or fire or anything though. If lipos are overcharged too much there could be a fire.
