Which do you guys prefer on the kayfun lite? I just received 1 yesterday day from a fellow member on ecf. He recommended using a traditional coil on 2mm ekowool. Im fairly new to ekowool as I have been a cotton user from some time now. But back to the question, traditional 3/4 wrap or micro coils.

Thanks in advance! !!

Why not try both?

For that matter, there's many variations that aren't quite either "micro" or "standard". I'm currently running a 7 wrap 30 gauge 2.1mm bore coil with all wraps touching @1.7 ohm with cotton-cored ekowool (twik).

Also remember that with any coil position matters. Just like in any other atomizer, closer or farther from the air hole affects the qualities of the vape significantly.

I've been playing with this recently. I have some microcoils extremely close to the post and they vape rather hot. Would you say if I move the coil closer/more lined up with the air hole, the vape would be cooler? How would this affect flavor and throat hit?

Generally speaking, yes. You want the air to pass directly over the coils to essentially cool them down. To be honest, I'm not sure if this would make a noticeably "cooler" vape, but it's definitely a better vape. The flavor is much better, and the throat hit is less intense, but trust me when I say that a strong throat hit from a misaligned air hole is not a "good" strong hit.
