Traveling - Hong Kong and China with Liquid

Has anyone had occasion to travel in and out of Hong Kong or Chinese customs with juice? I am flying into Hong Kong, taking the ferry to Zhuhai in China, taking the ferry back and then flying back to Los Angeles.

I really want to bring what I have so I don't have to murder the Chinese language with my horrible pronunciation asking random locals about where I can buy juice. Plus, this is a work trip and I'd rather not get into my vaping obsession with my coworkers and hosts.

I read on another thread that I may have problems exiting China. Any one who has tried this and can relay their experience would be a great help to me. Thanks in advance.

I was in Hong Kong two weeks ago...
I came in through customs with a VTR/Taifun GS setup, 2 EVODS and spare batteries and about 8 x 30ml bottles of juice.
They looked at the kit, asked if it was for vaping and let me through...
Another guy in the line also had ALOT *think big Ziplock bag full* of juice and was waved through as well...
I also took the VTR setup into Macau...

Cant help with China though sorry... but one thing I did whilst there was contact Fastech and ask them their shipping time to HK. 2 days!!
So I put a order in and had it shipped to my hotel and brought more gear back to Japan with me...

I took the ferry from Macau to HK this March with minimal vape gear and had no issues at all. I vaped discreetly while there to avoid any unnecessary problems.

I'm back from my journey and thought I'd report my experience in case anyone finds the info useful.

I was not questioned once by the US, Hong Kong, or Chinese customs or airport security agents entering or exiting the three countries. I was carrying 2 eGo Twists, a Vision Spinner, a charger and 2 30 ml vials of juice in my purse and it was easy.

I was in a non-touristy part of China for most of the trip and while I saw many analog smokers, I didn't see a single vaper or vape shop. I was hoping to explore a bit, but no such luck.

An unexpected benefit from being on this trip is that because it was for business, I didn't vape as much as I would normally. I think I'm ready to switch from my usual 12-18mg nic juice to 6mg.

Happy to be home so now I can start thinking about my next set up. Thanks again to all who provided their insight before I left for my trip.

I wish I could tell you. I didn't really see many big box stores. The small store I visited was more of a drug store like Walgreen's or CVS. No cigarettes so definitely no vape supplies. I was surprised to find a Walmart, but I didn't go in.

The answer to your question is no, not in Shanghai at least. E-Cigs aren't really popular here. It's all made here but mostly for export market. I buy everything on TaoBao.com
