traveling to Vegas from halifax ns

Hi all,
Did a search and was unable to find a suitable answer to this question,
I ordered my 1st e-cig kit, the e-roll, leaving soon from halifax going to las vegas, and planning on taking my kit with me, i assume i won't have any problems with going thru either Cnd. or U.S. customs with it? Also the e-liquid i ordered for it does contain 'nic' in it, however there is no labelling to say such. Will i get thru customs with it, if i have it on my carry on bagged up with all my other gells and liquids?
Also, i assume air canada won't let me use this on the plane, however any issues setting of the smoke detectors in the washrooms on board?
Thanks,

Travelled to Jamaica last month with westjet. No problems carrying on ecigs and no problems with vaping, we just used the bathroom. Ejuices should be placed with personal items in a sealed ziploc bag, only a few of my ejuices had labels, no issues. Placed ecig tanks in plastic bag with tissue before boarding plane as they will leak all over due to pressure changes. Removed tank from plastic bag attached to battery and vaped in the bathroom.
I would not suggest vaping or even stealth vaping in the plane. If one person sees you are reacts negatively it would be very bad. They would make an emergency landing and you would be the reason.

I don't understand why anyone would try to vape on a plane? I guess you just want to complicate matters for yourself if you get caught and brag about it if you don't. Just go to Air Canada website and they have a extremely detailed regulations and restrictions regarding carry-on luggage. Battery would be a hit and miss situation. The e-juice should be within the limit but that is the only dispensable item.

Remember it is coming back to Canada for nicotine restriction.

I would not try to vape on board any fight.
As already stated, AC has detailed regulations posted on their website that includes a prohibition relating to the use of E-cigs on flights. You can carry but not use on AC flights.
I would imagine that most airlines are more then a bit sensitive on this issue right now.
As for crossing boarders with juice and devices, I would not try to carry anything I am not prepared to have confiscated.

Not sure how things will be with the recent events. I just flew to Vegas April 6 and returned April 11 on WestJet from Calgary. I had my eGo Twists and my Spinner in a case in my carryon. I took my Mini Vivi Nova with juice in it and my Kanger T2 with juice off the batteries and put them in my carryon liquid bag that also had one 5ml and one 10ml bottles of juice.

I also had my eRoll in my purse and did not remove the tanks that were on the two batteries. In my checked luggage I had 4 additional 10ml bottles of juice. No questions and no problems when leaving Canada or on return. I did not vape on the plane - but did have a few stealth vapes in the washroom in Calgary before boarding the plane.

Hopefully all will go as well for you - have fun in Vegas - I know I sure did ;)

Thank you, for all your suggestions. The only thing i could find on the air canada website was no problem to take on my carry on, and same with the us customs no problem there either. Wasn't any in depth info from either on..

There is not much there but it is clearly stated on this page.
aircanada.com - Carry-On Baggage

At the bottom of the accepted Items section, it states:

"Electronic cigarettes (or 'e-cigarettes'), provided they remain stowed and unused in your carry-on baggage."

Be careful about battery but since you are only bringing e-roll, I can't see any problem. The battery that I am referring to are the unprotected ones AW 18*** as carry-ons. Excess battery cannot be board on planes nowadays as this is more refer to laptop and cell phones since all seats now have AC outlets.

I guess nobody like to check-in their luggages anymore as airlines are charging for every check-in luggages especially NA flights (not so much international flights). But if bringing back e-liquids, more than 100ml, then check-in your luggage should be a safer bet. Less hassle going through those customs x-ray check points.

But the bottom line is to enjoy yourself in Las Vegas. Cheers.
